MARKETING
ANALYST
At Harnham, our role involves more than making introductions. As a leading recruitment expert in the field of Data and AI, we have a vital role in the sector’s community and do all we can to help its advancement.
The data gained from marketing and insight work cannot contribute to this growth without the support of marketing analytics professionals. The people in these positions are central to increasing the reach, results and efficiency of marketing efforts by turning unrefined data into actionable reports..
CAMPAIGNÂ
& CRM
Customer loyalty and brand engagement are more important than ever. Companies are now looking to understand the reasons behind every customer interaction and touchpoint across the business, across email, SMS, app and in-store.
A marketing-led business strategy needs to justify its ROI, requiring a team who can identify customers to target whilst delivering a strategy to increase engagement across every touch point and campaign launched.
We have extensive experience hiring across the entire campaign spectrum, ranging from campaign executives, to campaign managers, analysts and CRM Managers.
STATISTICAL
ANALYSIS
As it is with all data roles, Statistical Analytics roles are a component of data analytics. Statistical Analysts aim to garner insights from large amounts of data. What separates Statistical Analysts from other analysts is that they can mitigate the effects of ‘noisy data’ and support data mining.
This discipline is unique, as it can tell brands how likely an event is to happen based on historical data, not just real-time insights.
We have great experience in building high-performing teams across SAS, python and R environments.
PRICING
ANALYST
Pricing Analysts are pivotal in providing a cross-functional role in understanding the latest competitor trends, as well as delivering recommendations around specific product pricing and promotions.
Harnham have played a key role in building Pricing Analytics teams for a range of major clients across retail, financial services and insurance companies.

You’ll bridge data management and insights, combining technical skills with strategic thinking to ensure customer data flows seamlessly across systems, segmentation drives targeted campaigns, and stakeholders have access to meaningful customer analytics.
This is perfect for someone with experience in data management or analytics who wants to take ownership of customer data strategy in a luxury retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize the flow of customer data between CRM systems, CDPs, ecommerce platforms, and marketing channels, ensuring seamless integration and accuracy.
- Ensure robust and efficient customer data collection across all touchpoints (online, in-store, mobile, email).
- Optimize data health and integrity through consistent, best-practice approaches to data cleansing, deduplication, and validation.

- Develop segmentation strategies to enable personalized, relevant marketing activity across email, SMS, direct mail, and digital channels.
- Build and maintain a suite of dashboards and reports to keep stakeholders informed of key customer KPIs including acquisition, retention, lifetime value, engagement, and purchase behavior.
- Work closely with Tech teams and developers to optimize customer data integration from multiple sources and troubleshoot data flow issues.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR) and champion data governance best practices across the business.
What You’ll Be Working On
Customer Data Platform (CDP) management and optimization – ensuring data is unified, accurate, and actionable.
Segmentation and modeling – creating customer segments for targeted campaigns based on behavior, demographics, purchase history, and engagement.
Data quality initiatives – implementing processes to cleanse, validate, and maintain high-quality customer data.

Cross-functional collaboration – partnering with Tech, Marketing, CRM, and ecommerce teams to align on data strategy.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience in a data management or data analytics role, ideally in retail or ecommerce.
- Knowledge of retail-focused CRM and CDP systems (Bloomreach, Segment, Tealium, mParticle, Salesforce CDP, or similar).
- Strong understanding of data integration methodologies and how customer data flows between systems.
- Hands-on experience with analytics and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
- SQL knowledge and ability to query customer databases to extract insights and build segments.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders around data health, quality, and best practices.
- Impeccably high attention to detail and accuracy when working with data.
- Understanding of CRM segmentation and customer modeling strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to translate technical insights for non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of data legislation and privacy regulations (GDPR, ICO guidelines).
Desirable:
- Experience working in a multi-channel retail environment (online and offline customer data).
- Knowledge of Bloomreach CDP specifically.
- Awareness of how AI-driven technology is being used to enhance data cleansing and customer modeling.
- Experience with A/B testing strategies in a CRM or marketing context.
