The Role

We’re working with a large UK retailer who are building out a new centralised analytics capability focused on pricing, promotions, and commercial optimisation. This is a newly created team with strong senior sponsorship and increasing investment in data-led decision making and AI-enabled pricing strategy.
The Opportunity
This is a high-visibility analytics role sitting close to commercial leadership, supporting pricing decisions across a large and complex retail estate. The team is responsible for developing more advanced, data-driven approaches to pricing and promotional effectiveness.
You’ll work across both strategic initiatives and fast-turnaround commercial analysis, helping shape how pricing is set, measured, and optimised.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse competitor pricing activity and support commercial recommendations
- Deliver insight and performance analysis across pricing and promotional activity
- Support pricing optimisation and test-and-learn initiatives
- Build analytical models (e.g. regression, elasticity, incrementality measurement)
- Translate commercial questions into structured analytical outputs
