Senior Research Scientist – Health Tech (3-Month Contract)
Day rate = £450/day
Location: Remote – UK Based
Contract Duration: 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
Role Overview:
Lead the analysis of large-scale survey data from Nigeria, Senegal, and Ivory Coast to support health initiatives. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations aligned with project goals.
We are hiring a Senior Research Scientist for a 3-month contract to lead data-driven projects in women’s health and family planning across developing countries. This role requires expertise in research, data science, and the ability to deliver actionable insights that inform policy and decision-making.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Data Science & Analytics (prior experience in a start-up, fintech, or social media companies in a product/go-to-market capacity is a plus).
- SQL – you should be fluent with UDFs, joins, aggregation functions, and window functions to build complex queries for analyses.
- Prior experience with Python/R.
- Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Amplitude
- Experience with ETL frameworks like Airflow & Stitch.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience in one or more of the following: Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Statistics, Experiments (e.g. A/B Testing), Hypothesis testing, Machine Learning, and other Analytics approaches.
- Bonus:

The Role
As a Product Data Scientist, you will be:
- Designing and implementing segmentation models and propensity models to create actionable customer groups for targeted marketing strategies.
- Build and optimise value-based bidding (VBB) models and first-party enrichments to maximise ROAS and relevant business growth metrics.
- Develop and refine attribution models (e.g., multi-touch. data-driven attribution) to measure and improve the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.
- Analyse and interpret marking data from various sources.
Skills & Experience
- Strong foundations in Data Science skills, with impact in the digital marketing domain.
- Proficiency in statistical modelling and machine learning techniques for attribution, segmentation, and predictive modelling.

- Formation : Diplômé(e) d’une grande école d’ingénieurs ou d’un master en mathématiques, informatique ou sciences des données.
