The Role and Deliverables
- Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models for a range of business use cases.
- Develop scalable AI solutions that support customer, marketing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
- Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
- Implement MLOps best practices to support model deployment, monitoring, and performance optimisation.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies, including generative AI and large language models where appropriate.
- Support the development of a robust machine learning infrastructure and technical roadmap.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Excellent Python development skills and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of MLOps, CI/CD principles, and model lifecycle management.
- Experience building scalable data and AI solutions using modern engineering practices.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience within a consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, or FMCG environment would be advantageous.

This is an opportunity to join a high-impact AI programme focused on developing production-grade Large Language Model solutions. You will play a key role in designing and delivering cutting-edge generative AI applications, working on projects that have a direct impact on business operations and customer experience.
The Company
They are a technology-driven organisation investing heavily in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Their teams are focused on building innovative products and services that leverage the latest advancements in generative AI. Operating within a collaborative and agile environment, they are looking for an experienced contractor to accelerate the delivery of key AI initiatives.
The Role and Deliverables
- Design, develop, and deploy LLM-powered applications for production environments.
- Build and optimise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and supporting infrastructure.
- Integrate LLM solutions with vector databases, APIs, and cloud-based services.
- Evaluate, monitor, and improve model performance through testing and optimisation.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions.
- Produce technical documentation and best practice guidance to support ongoing development.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience building and deploying Large Language Model applications.
- Strong Python development skills and experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
- Experience implementing RAG architectures and working with vector databases.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI application optimisation.
- Experience deploying solutions within AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and software engineering best practices.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
