Responsibilities:
- Staying on top of the latest trends in the space such as AI and LLMs, and guiding the team where to implement them.

THE COMPANY
This company is a reputable consultancy who have had an influx of clients looking for support in helping to improve their data platforms to ensure they are ready to host AI models. They have significant reach in the financial service space and most of these clients are wanting support to implement AI in the safest way possible.
THE ROLE
As an AI Architect, you will have ideally designed data platforms at scale, solely to host, ML/DL/AI models. You will be the go-to person to lead on client projects, look at their current platforms and help replatform to ensure they are fit for purpose, ready to host the AI models that the Data Scientists have been working on. The main need is for someone who can do this in a secure way given how difficult this part has proven for clients within finance.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong system design and architecture experience
- Good cloud architecture skills with an emphasis towards data science models
- Ideally will have implement AI models and if not, ML/DL models as a minimum
- Should have consulting experience in previous roles
THE PROCESS
- Initial round with the Hiring Manager
- A whiteboarding session to determine how you would integrate AI into clients’ architecture
- A conversation with the Director of Architecture to ensure you experience aligns with their vision

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate the vision of senior client stakeholders and senior architects into the AI/ML/GenAI architectural strategy and implementation roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and digital transformation efforts.
- Collaborate with Enterprise, Application, Data & DevOps Architects, Data Scientists, MLOps & GenAI Engineers, and Business teams to pilot use cases and discuss architectural design.
- Select appropriate technologies from a pool of open-source and commercial offerings, considering deployment models and integration with existing tools.
- Support the successful execution and operational improvement of AI-powered applications using agile methodology.
- Develop and maintain contact with the relevant client stakeholders and contribute to proposal development.
- Develop the capability of our junior team members through on-the-job training and formal development programmes.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Experience in architecture-related disciplines and a solid background in data science with a good understanding of concepts relevant to AI and ML
- Experience in implementing cloud-based AI and ML workloads across one or more CSPs or third-party vendor technologies.
- Experience in architecting scalable, performant & cost-optimized AI/ML solutions leveraging; serverless technologies, container / Kubernetes-based deployments, and GPU compute infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of generative AI and hands-on experience in deploying and hosting Large Foundational Models.
- Experience with LLM architecture
- Experience in writing high-quality code in Python.
- Ability to showcase senior stakeholder management skills and collaborate well with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to bring teams together and lead programs to ensure success through applying coaching, facilitation, and stakeholder management.

The Role
The consultancy is looking for a Senior Consultant/Manager to take on the role of AI Architect.
