The Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will help design, build, and optimise scalable data solutions across the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing robust data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing
- Building and maintaining cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses
- Supporting the delivery of analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives
- Improving data quality, governance, monitoring, and observability across the platform
- Collaborating with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Product teams, and business stakeholders
- Driving best practice in data engineering, architecture, and platform performance
- Contributing to technical strategy and mentoring colleagues within the data team
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and scalable engineering solutions
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer
- Advanced SQL skills and strong capability in Python
- Experience building and maintaining modern cloud data platforms, ideally on Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Expertise in data modelling, ETL/ELT development, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with orchestration and workflow tools such as Airflow or similar technologies
- Knowledge of modern data architecture principles and scalable distributed systems
- Experience working with large, complex datasets in a commercial environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams
- Passion for data, continuous improvement, and delivering business value

The Role
As a Solution Architect / Technical Lead, you will provide technical leadership for the design and implementation of knowledge graph solutions across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and lead the architecture for enterprise-scale knowledge graph platforms
- Work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Design semantic data models, ontologies, and graph-based information architectures
- Lead technical delivery across internal teams and external partners
- Drive best practice in knowledge representation, metadata management, and data governance
- Support the integration of knowledge graphs with AI, machine learning, search, and analytics platforms

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience designing and delivering knowledge graph solutions
- Expertise with graph databases and semantic technologies such as RDF, OWL, SPARQL, or similar frameworks
- Experience developing enterprise data architectures and information management solutions
- Strong understanding of ontology design, taxonomy management, and knowledge representation
- Experience integrating knowledge graphs with AI, NLP, search, or machine learning applications
- Ability to lead technical discussions with both business and technical stakeholders
- Experience working within complex, international enterprise environments
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience in legal, professional services, financial services, or other knowledge-intensive sectors is advantageous but not essential
