AI Product Manager

San Francisco

$200-250k base + bonus (No equity)

We’re partnering with a fast-growing financial services business that is using AI to fundamentally rethink how core business processes operate.

The company already has production AI agents live across credit and underwriting workflows and is now expanding that approach across Sales, Customer Lifecycle, Finance, and Capital Markets.

This is not a traditional product management role focused on feature backlogs and incremental improvements. The remit is to work directly with business teams, understand how processes operate today, and redesign them from the ground up using AI.

The Opportunity

You’ll work directly on a core AI initiative, owning projects from discovery through launch.

You’ll partner with business teams to understand their processes, identify where AI can help, and turn those needs into clear product requirements.

You’ll then work closely with engineering teams to bring those solutions into production.

It’s a high ownership role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and a great opportunity to build deeper AI product experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead discovery sessions with business teams to understand existing workflows, pain points, exceptions, and opportunities for AI
  • Translate complex business problems into clear AI product designs and technical briefs
  • Reimagine workflows from first principles rather than simply automating existing processes
  • Define product requirements, acceptance criteria, quality controls, and evaluation frameworks
  • Manage specialist engineering partners through the build and delivery process
  • Partner with Data Science and Engineering teams to define evaluation metrics, golden datasets, and production readiness standards
  • Coordinate testing, shadow runs, and go live activity for new AI products
  • Work closely with end users to drive adoption and ensure products solve genuine operational problems
  • Measure post launch impact against defined baselines and identify opportunities for continued iteration

What We’re Looking For

  • 3 to 5 years of experience across Product Management, Product Analysis, or a similar product focused role
  • Hands on exposure to AI enabled products, LLM applications, or AI agents
  • Strong experience running discovery with business stakeholders and turning ambiguous problems into structured solutions
  • Ability to create clear product artefacts including process maps, requirements, design briefs, and specifications
  • Comfortable working with engineers and challenging technical solutions when they do not align with the product intent
  • Strong written communication and structured problem solving skills
  • Comfortable operating independently in ambiguous, fast moving environments

Ideally You’ll Also Have

  • Experience within an AI native, fintech, lending, or high growth technology environment
  • Exposure to AI agents, LLM powered products, or workflow automation
  • Experience managing external engineering partners or vendors
  • Strong instincts around when AI genuinely adds value versus when a simpler solution is more appropriate
  • Experience taking AI products from discovery through production and adoption

Staff Data Scientist, Finance – Consumption Forecasting

Location: San Francisco or New York | Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

Salary: $240-300k base + bonus + equity (RSUs)

This is a rare chance to own forecasting infrastructure at the center of a high-growth, consumption-based developer platform, one that powers some of the world’s most dynamic applications and scales with every developer and enterprise building on it.

As a consumption-based business, forecasting usage across compute, bandwidth, edge, and storage isn’t a support function. It’s foundational to how we plan infrastructure, revenue, and long-term strategy. This role exists to lead that work at the highest level.

What you’ll own

This is a senior individual contributor role with organization-wide impact. You’ll define forecasting methodology, build systems that scale with a rapidly growing platform, and sit at the intersection of Finance, Infrastructure, Product, and GTM with direct visibility to executive leadership.

  • Own production revenue forecasting end-to-end: model development, backtesting, deployment, monitoring, and iteration from first principles to live system
  • Build forecasting systems that account for usage-based pricing dynamics, consumption patterns, and customer lifecycle across the platform, built for how this business actually works, not retrofitted SaaS models
  • Design hierarchical forecasting models across account, cohort, segment, and global aggregate levels, covering operational, quarterly, and long-range planning cycles
  • Establish backtesting, monitoring, and explainability standards that make forecast accuracy transparent and defensible
  • Build scenario simulation frameworks to evaluate pricing changes, packaging adjustments, and product launches
  • Partner with Finance on board-level reporting, with Infrastructure Engineering on capacity planning, and with Product and GTM on adoption curves and usage drivers
  • Set forecasting best practices across the broader Data organization

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years in data science, quantitative analytics, or applied statistics at senior or staff level
  • Deep expertise in time-series forecasting and statistical modelling in a usage-based or SaaS environment
  • Proven track record building and productionizing ML systems at scale
  • Strong Python and SQL, with experience on large-scale usage and billing datasets
  • Familiarity with probabilistic modelling, hierarchical forecasting, and causal inference
  • Experience partnering with Finance or executive leadership on planning cycles
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Nice to have

  • Background in cloud infrastructure, developer tools, or consumption-based revenue models
  • Familiarity with modern data stacks: Snowflake, Delta Lake, dbt, Airflow
  • Prior technical mentorship or informal leadership experience
