The Role
A hands-on + strategic CRM role owning multi-channel journeys end-to-end. You’ll plan, build, test, deploy, and optimise high-frequency campaigns (c.30+ per week), develop automated lifecycle programmes, and use segmentation and experimentation to improve engagement, conversion, and LTV. The role reports into the Head of CRM and offers regular exposure to the C-suite, with scope to mentor a small team of CRM Executives.

THE ROLE
This is a key leadership role in the UK analytics function, managing three direct reports across data science, BI and analysis. Manage and collaborate with external SEO agencies and vendors, setting direction and ensuring delivery.

Establish performance tracking, reporting frameworks, and actionable KPIs.

Identify opportunities for organic growth and prioritise projects that maximise ROI.

Lay the groundwork for future team growth, with potential to step into people leadership.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
-
Strong technical SEO expertise – proven track record of resolving site architecture, crawl, and indexing challenges.

Experience handling migrations and troubleshooting complex technical SEO issues.
-
Evidence of SEO as a growth driver, not just a support channel.
-
Ability to build SEO processes, systems, and best practices from scratch.
-
Comfortable owning SEO independently in a high-growth, fast-moving company.

Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate technical insights clearly.
Desirable:

Experience working with or managing external SEO agencies.

Familiarity with scaling SEO in consumer-facing products or apps.

Exposure to analytics tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics.

Interest in developing leadership skills and mentoring others as the SEO function expands.
Interview Process
1st Stage: Introductory with the CMO (career background, motivation, and role alignment).
2nd Stage: Technical case study – audit or migration scenario with recommendations.
Final Stage: Leadership interview with senior team (focus on growth impact, stakeholder approach, and cultural fit).
