THE ROLE
- Work alongside BE Engineers to create AI-driven services and build new platform infrastructure
- Build machine learning models and put them into deployment to support new and existing platforms
- Utilize computer vision technology to build end-to-end models
- Report directly to the Head of Artificial Intelligence, opportunities for growth
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2+ Commercial experience preferred with Machine Learning models
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Vision, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Preferred experience in a start-up environment

They are looking for an experienced Quantitative Researcher with a background in building machine learning, deep learning, and applied statistics models for quantitative applications. This person will sit in their Quant Research team and work on portfolio projects across the business.
THE ROLE
- You will build machine learning, deep learning, and applied statistics models aimed at improving investment strategy and trading
- You will analyze large datasets from a variety of alternative data sources i.e. mapping, geographic, location, advertising, search history and other real-world data
- Own development of new platforms for equity and macro products for use both nationally and internationally
- Run simulations to determine interesting companies for trading
- Work closely with internal stakeholders
- Help in mentoring a fast-growing team
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Quantitative Researcher will likely have the following skills and experience:
- 3-5 years of commercial experience building machine learning and deep learning models for quantitative applications
- Experience using Python for predictive modeling and data manipulation is preferred
- Commercial experience using machine learning, deep learning and Bayesian statistics
- Comfortable leading research projects
- Familiarity reinforcement learning and neural networks preferred
- History of partnering with non-technical stakeholders in different departments
