Do you want to work for a Footsie 100 company? This company is looking for a hardworking, eager, hybrid candidate with experience in Power BI, SQL, Python, Data Quality, and the ability to take on Data Analyst tasks.
THE ROLE:
This role requires a hybrid candidate who is strong with data quality as well as having the ability to assist with backlog. Such as back-end work on SQL or Excel and creating visualisations with Power BI
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with creating visualisations with Power BI
- Proficiency in SQL or Python and Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Strong experience in Data Quality
THE BENEFITS:
The successful Data Quality analyst will receive £400-£425 per day over an initial 6-month contract.

A specialist Financial Services provider, part of a fast-growing Banking brand, is expanding their data function and looking to add a new Data Governance Officer. This role is aiming at supporting proper Data Management and Governance across the whole brand, creating processes and documentation.
THE COMPANY:
This is a specialist Financial Services provider, which is part of a wider brand. The bank is one of the fastest growing in the UK, providing services to small & medium-sized businesses as well as personal customers. This is part of the bank’s wider expansion of the data teams as the organisation becomes more data-driven.
THE ROLE:
As a Data Governance Officer you will be responsible for assisting in the development of Data Governance standards & protocols, as well as creating documentation for the business.
In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following:
- Working with the Head of Data to define Data Governance challenges and requirements
- Defining requirements through the development of new protocols and procedures
- Documenting and implementing the new controls & providing oversight
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The successful Data Governance Officer will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience providing expertise and insight on Data Governance standards
- Understanding of GDPR and banking regulations
- Strong experience of improving Data Quality within an organisation
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
THE BENEFITS:
The successful Data Governance Officer will receive a salary of £50 – 60,000 per annum, plus a host of other benefits.

About the Team
The Data Governance team focuses on increasing confidence and ensuring that data is fit for purpose by providing the capability to assess, monitor, and improve data quality through effective governance.
About the Role
This role involves leading and managing data governance activities across the organization, with a focus on improving data quality and managing key information assets. The goal is to enhance the overall data and governance maturity of the company. The individual in this role will ensure adherence to the enterprise data governance framework, which covers data policies, standards, and practices, in order to achieve the necessary levels of consistency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Enforcing the data governance framework, which includes ownership, onboarding, standards, rules, and processes.
- Leading data governance committees to ensure decision-making around data evolves to meet business needs.
- Collaborating with technology and architecture teams to manage changes within the data catalog and data quality.
- Creating and agreeing on metrics to measure data governance and quality, providing actionable insights to drive a proactive approach.
- Training and educating data stewards and owners on data governance and quality management practices through the governance framework.
- Facilitating workshops and meetings across business areas for onboarding, improvement, and raising the profile of data governance.
- Assisting in managing the data quality roadmap.
- Proactively analyzing and profiling current data, identifying and tracking data quality issues, and suggesting areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in delivering large projects, managing timelines, and mitigating risks.
- Expertise in data governance management from both a business and technical perspective.
- Ability to motivate and hold teams accountable to rules, frameworks, or delivery expectations.
- Experience in partnering with and influencing diverse teams across multiple locations.
- Proficiency in SQL, dashboarding, or possessing a technical background would be valuable.

I’m looking for a Head of Data Strategy for one of my Biotech clients. This company is a fast-paced biotech startup, dedicated to developing innovative medicines and drug discovery, particularly targeting niche diseases utilizing machine learning and AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement a comprehensive, long-term data strategy aligned with the organization’s business and technical objectives.
- Lead the design and creation of scalable, future-ready data and metadata infrastructure.
- Foster a strong curiosity for data, actively seeking new data sources and connections to drive the company’s vision forward.
- Ensure data frequency, metadata management, and data provenance remain aligned with business needs and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with biologists, business teams, legal teams, data engineers, software developers, and AI engineers to facilitate seamless integration of data systems and processes.
- Oversee the development and implementation of data governance and validation frameworks to ensure data quality, traceability, and compliance with industry regulations, ensuring continuous audit readiness.
- Guide the creation and maintenance of ETL pipelines and data workflows to guarantee efficient data processing and validation.
- Support all departments by ensuring that data is structured, pre-processed, and optimized for model training.
- Implement robust data security and privacy measures, particularly for sensitive and regulated information.
- Continuously assess and incorporate emerging data technologies and tools to keep the infrastructure modern and efficient.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations on data-driven decisions.
- Mentor and support technical teams, fostering a data-centric culture across the organization.
- Work with the legal team during the negotiation and execution of data licensing agreements, ensuring compliance with usage terms and legal conditions.
- Oversee governance processes to ensure data integrity and adherence to regulatory standards
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in defining data governance, quality control, and lifecycle management to support decision-making, research and development, and product innovation.
- Expertise in aligning data initiatives across engineering, platform, and AI teams to ensure collaboration and consistent data strategies.
- Skilled in developing long-term data strategies that integrate enterprise-wide data into a unified framework.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing data governance frameworks to ensure vendor and regulatory compliance, while establishing data quality standards across all teams.
- Proficient in designing scalable and robust data architectures tailored to varied requirements, such as large biological datasets, AI models, and platform integration.
- Experience managing change in data systems, including transitioning to new platforms, adopting new tools, and using agile methodologies to keep pace with a dynamic environment.
- Expertise in leading cloud adoption strategies, focused on building distributed data storage and processing systems to support AI and platform needs.
- Strong background in enforcing data privacy and security measures aligned with industry regulations, including encryption and access controls.
