The Role
- Own and define the platform strategy for a large-scale synthetic data and generative AI ecosystem
- Lead and develop a cross-functional engineering team, setting technical standards and best practices
- Build a scalable, secure, and high-performing platform used across global teams
- Bridge the gap between research, machine learning, and engineering to productionise advanced AI models
- Drive adoption of MLOps best practices including CI/CD, model lifecycle management, and reproducibility
- Ensure enterprise-grade governance, security, and privacy standards are embedded in the platform
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong technical leadership experience across software engineering, data engineering, or machine learning engineering
- Proven experience building and scaling complex data or ML platforms within a product-led environment
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, platform architecture, and high-throughput data processing
- Strong experience with Python and modern data and ML ecosystems
- Hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code such as Terraform
- Experience implementing MLOps frameworks and managing model pipelines in production

We’re partnering with a well-known retail brand looking for an SEO / GEO Manager to lead organic growth across both traditional search and emerging AI-driven discovery channels.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the organic search strategy across e-commerce platforms
- Conduct keyword research, technical audits, and on-page optimisation
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and revenue performance to drive growth
- Develop and lead GEO (AI search) strategy across emerging platforms
- Optimise content for AI discovery, retrieval, and citation
- Collaborate with content, digital, PR, and tech teams
- Define KPIs, build dashboards, and run performance experiments
- Act as the internal expert on the future of search and organic discovery
What We’re Looking For
- 4-7+ years’ experience in SEO or organic growth roles
- Proven track record of driving traffic and revenue through SEO
- Strong technical SEO and content strategy knowledge
- Understanding or strong interest in AI search and LLM-driven discovery
- Experience in e-commerce or retail environments (preferred)
- Strong analytical mindset with testing and experimentation experience
- Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication skills

The Role
You will lead the organic search strategy across websites while developing a new approach to generative engine optimisation.
- Own and deliver the SEO strategy across multiple domains, driving traffic and revenue growth
- Conduct keyword research, technical audits, and on page optimisation
- Partner with content, digital, and engineering teams to implement best practice SEO
- Monitor rankings, site performance, and search trends to identify opportunities
- Lead the development of a GEO strategy across AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity
- Optimise content for AI retrieval, citation, and summarisation
- Introduce structured data and entity based strategies to improve discoverability
- Test new content formats including conversational and AI optimised outputs
- Define and track success metrics across SEO and GEO, including visibility and conversions
- Build dashboards and deliver insights using tools such as GA4 and Search Console
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and act as an internal expert on organic discovery
Your Skills and Experience
- Commercial experience in SEO or organic growth within a digital or ecommerce environment
- Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in traffic, rankings, and revenue
- Solid understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and search performance analysis
- Knowledge of structured data, indexing, and crawl optimisation principles
- Interest in AI driven search and how large language models surface content
- Experience using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
- Confident working with data, experimentation, and performance analysis
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
