MASTER DATA LEAD

THE COMPANY:
Join an international company and help support establish a new Master Data function.
THE ROLE:
As a Master Data Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in setting up the UK capability – cleansing existing data, defining new processes, and ensuring alignment between business and data teams. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the setup of a new Master Data team in the UK, in collaboration with the global team.
- Lead data cleansing and standardisation efforts across customer, supply chain, and operations data.
- Assess current data structures and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Design and document master data management processes for ongoing use.
- Partner with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to align business needs with data accuracy.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The successful Master Data Lead will have:
- Strong background in Master Data Management (MDM), ideally within large or international organisations.
- Proven experience in data cleansing, data quality improvement, and process creation.
- Excellent understanding of both business and data operations – more business-facing than purely technical.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably IFS or similar.

A critical need has emerged to bring on a dedicated Product Operations Manager to take ownership of data reporting, performance monitoring, and internal/external dashboards. The current team is stretched thin, with engineering and leadership spending excessive time on metrics instead of focusing on strategic and technical priorities.
This role is urgent to fill-you’ll step into a high-impact position that keeps operations running smoothly across all active deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards and SQL-based queries to track system performance.
- Monitor KPIs across ~8 active city deployments, flag anomalies, and collaborate with engineering on resolution.
- Own monthly reporting to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Present product performance and analytics to clients in a polished, confident manner.
- Ensure product-related data is accessible, reliable, and leveraged across teams for decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong analytical mindset – comfortable working with performance data, trends, and root cause analysis.
- Experience managing internal metrics and external-facing performance reports.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and business intelligence tools (e.g., Metabase, Looker, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – capable of owning client presentations without relying on engineering.
- Familiarity with computer vision or hardware/software systems is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and eager to take ownership of mission-critical reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Design
- Develop physical and logical layouts for data center infrastructure, including racks, cabling, power, and cooling systems.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to optimize infrastructure performance and scalability.
Capacity Planning & Optimization
- Monitor current usage and forecast future needs to ensure proactive scaling and resource planning.
- Identify areas for operational efficiency in energy use, airflow, and system performance.
Security & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with corporate, industry, and regulatory standards.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center architecture at scale.
- Deep technical knowledge in networking, compute, storage, power, and HVAC.
- Proven experience designing, documenting, and implementing robust data center solutions.
- Demonstrated success leading multiple full-scale data center rollouts.
- Strong project management skills with an ability to deliver on tight timelines and budgets.
- Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in or with large-scale tech companies or cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
- Certifications in data center design or infrastructure (e.g., CDCP, CDCS, DCD) are a plus.

THE ROLE:

- Lead and evolve data governance processes and frameworks
- Support privacy management and internal assessment reviews

THE ROLE:
As a Data Policy Writer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting a gap analysis of current data governance and privacy policies.
- Interviewing stakeholders to understand how data is used across teams and regions.
- Drafting clear and structured data policies that reflect best practice in governance, privacy, and security.
- Reviewing global and regional requirements to ensure policies are consistent but adaptable.
- Ensuring correct information access within SharePoint and other platforms.
- Aligning policies with regulatory standards (GDPR, ESO) and internal objectives.
- Producing a short, medium, and long-term roadmap to guide ongoing compliance.
- Presenting findings and policy drafts to senior stakeholders for approval.
