About the Role
A leading international organisation is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to join its growing Data Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a greenfield environment, contributing to a wide range of data-focused initiatives and projects.
The Opportunity
Based in Amsterdam as part of the Central Data Team, you will help shape and drive the organisation’s data governance initiatives. You will focus on metadata and reference data management, taxonomy development, and data quality monitoring and improvement.
In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, promoting data governance awareness across the organisation and collaborating closely with central teams to deliver measurable data governance and data quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the data governance framework, including data policies and standards.
- Design and manage data quality assurance programs to monitor, measure, and improve data quality.
- Lead initiatives related to master data, reference data, and taxonomy management.
- Maintain the business glossary to ensure consistent definitions, terminology, and understanding of key business terms across all departments.
- Collaborate with IT, business, and compliance teams to implement effective data governance solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, practices, and industry standards.
- Ability to communicate the value and role of data governance to both business and technical audiences.
- Experience working in project-based environments with multiple tasks, dependencies, and deadlines.
- Ability to influence and build consensus across organisational boundaries.
- Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Collibra) is a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, EU AI Act, or HIPAA is advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Governance Analyst to join a growing data function at a pivotal stage of its development. You’ll play a key role in shaping how data is governed across the business, helping to build frameworks, improve data quality, and support AI readiness in a highly visible position with strong stakeholder exposure.
The Company
Our client is a large international organisation investing heavily in its Data Management capabilities. Data governance has become a strategic priority, with strong leadership support and a clear roadmap for improving data quality, consistency, and trust across the business.
The successful candidate will join a small, collaborative Data Governance team based in the Netherlands, working closely with senior stakeholders to establish governance best practices and support enterprise-wide data initiatives. The environment offers the opportunity to influence how governance is embedded across multiple business functions.
The Role
As a Data Governance Analyst, you will support the ongoing development and implementation of the organisation’s data governance framework while helping drive key initiatives across data quality, taxonomy management, and critical data elements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery and operationalisation of a Data Governance Framework
- Partnering with business stakeholders across HR, Finance, Marketing, and other domains
- Identifying and defining critical data elements across key business functions
- Driving data quality monitoring, measurement, and improvement initiatives
- Contributing to taxonomy, metadata, and reference data management activities
- Supporting the development and maintenance of business glossaries, standards, and governance policies
- Promoting data governance best practices across technical and non-technical teams
- Working with data owners and subject matter experts to ensure consistent data definitions and usage
- Contributing to AI governance initiatives by helping improve data trust and quality
- Supporting cross-functional projects that improve data alignment across systems
Your Skills & Experience
To be successful in this Data Governance Analyst role, you will demonstrate:
- Strong commercial experience in data governance, data management, or a related discipline
- A solid understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices
- Experience delivering project-based initiatives and managing competing priorities
- The ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience influencing and building consensus across teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving
Desirable experience includes:
- Exposure to data governance platforms such as Microsoft Purview or Collibra
- Knowledge of GDPR, the EU AI Act, or related regulatory frameworks
- Experience working within complex, international organisations
- Exposure to taxonomy, metadata, master data, or reference data initiatives

A global semiconductor and engineering-led organisation is looking for a Director of Public & Private Cloud Engineering to lead an enterprise cloud platform organisation focused on connecting private and public cloud into one unified environment.
This is a highly strategic leadership role with a strong delivery focus, leading a global engineering organisation across cloud platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, and infrastructure functions.
The Role
Reporting into senior technology leadership, this person will oversee an organisation of 50-100 engineers and leaders across the US and India while driving the evolution of a connected cloud platform environment across both private and public cloud.
The organisation already has strong technical capability across cloud and infrastructure, but the current environment remains fragmented across teams and platforms. This role is focused on bringing those environments together, building alignment across engineering functions, and driving platform delivery across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a global cloud engineering organisation across platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, and infrastructure
* Drive strategy and delivery across both private and public cloud environments
* Connect siloed infrastructure and platform functions into a unified cloud platform
* Partner closely with senior technical leadership and architecture teams to deliver cloud initiatives
* Oversee Kubernetes, compute, storage, networking, GPU infrastructure, and cloud services across modern environments
* Improve reliability, scalability, automation, and operational efficiency across cloud platforms
* Build trust, autonomy, and strong engineering culture across distributed teams
* Drive modern infrastructure practices using open source tooling and infrastructure-as-code approaches
Required Experience
* 12+ years across cloud, infrastructure, platform engineering, or private cloud environments
* Experience leading managers and senior engineering leaders within enterprise organisations
* Strong experience across both private and public cloud environments
* Deep expertise across AWS plus additional public cloud exposure preferred
* Strong infrastructure automation and IaC experience using Terraform, Ansible, Python, or similar tooling
* Experience building or scaling internal infrastructure platforms or cloud engineering environments
* Strong understanding of networking, security, distributed systems, and infrastructure operations
