The Role
The company is seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in Machine Learning to develop solutions based on the companies ground-breaking technologies. You will play a crucial role in designing and building solutions using the leading AI engine for healthcare. You will be part of a close team who have extensive experience in implementing machine learning for real-world applications. Day to Day
- Define and build systems to model unstructured data sets to generate insights for clinical and medical problems that Machine Learning can solve
- Setting up and maintaining Data Science pipelines
- Contribute to defining and testing our products in the broadest sense possible, including testing for AI bias, transparency, and reliability
- Work closely with both our engineering and data science teams to drive product releases
Your Skills and Experience
The ideal fit for this role is someone who:
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
- Strong proven experience – at least a few years – with Machine Learning algorithms
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (such as supervised/unsupervised machine learning, time series, reinforcement learning, and adversarial learning) and their real-world applications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science
- Proficiency with modern Python programming
- Familiarity with solving problems using Artificial Intelligence

THE ROLE
They’re looking for an experienced individual contributor, who has developed price optimisation models before, to spearhead projects alongside their wider Data Science team.
This position will involve designing and deploying new credit models, by whatever method is most efficient. Be that statistical or machine learning models, you’ll be expected to take ownership of the projects from concept to deployment, and beyond.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Ideally, you will have:
- Expertise in Python and SQL
- Strong knowledge of machine learning
- or higher in a relevant STEM subject
- Experience working in a fintech is a huge bonus – but not a necessity
- Experience in a Pricing-focused Data Science team would be a huge bonus
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
