CRM Lead / CRM Manager
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite)
Salary: Up to £75,000 (DOE)

An innovative consumer-facing business is seeking a CRM Lead / CRM Manager to join their high-growth team. Backed by a strong digital-first approach and a mission to elevate the customer journey, this role offers the opportunity to own and execute CRM strategy across both B2B and B2C functions.

The Role
As CRM Lead, you will take end-to-end ownership of campaign strategy and execution, using data-led insights to drive engagement, retention, and customer value. Reporting into the Head of Growth, this role blends hands-on CRM execution with strategic development and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end CRM strategy for B2B and B2C audiences

  • Develop lifecycle marketing campaigns to improve engagement and loyalty

  • Test new ideas to gamify customer experience and drive retention

Campaign Execution

  • Execute automated and campaigns across multiple channels (email, push, in-app)

  • Use CRM tools (e.g., Braze preferred, but not essential) to build, launch, and analyse campaigns

  • Create and manage customer journeys, trigger flows, and personalisation logic

Analytics & Optimisation

  • Monitor and report on CRM performance, campaign impact, and customer segmentation

  • Apply A/B testing and continuous improvement to campaign performance

  • Use HTML or Java (basic knowledge required) to support technical aspects of builds

Stakeholder Management

  • Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and tech to align CRM with business goals

  • Liaise with internal teams to gather insights and inform campaign direction

Team Environment

  • Fast-paced and performance-driven, requiring adaptability and entrepreneurial thinking

  • Culture of accountability and cross-functional collaboration

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • 3+ years in a CRM or lifecycle marketing role

  • Proven track record building and executing CRM campaigns

  • Strong data-savvy mindset with performance-oriented thinking

  • Exposure to HTML or Java coding for CRM execution

  • Experience working across B2B and B2C customer bases

  • Comfortable working at pace in a dynamic environment

Desirable:

  • Experience using Braze or similar CRM automation tools

  • Background in digital consumer products, growth, or SaaS

  • Experience mentoring or managing others in a CRM setting

A high-growth consumer brand is looking to hire a CRM Manager to lead its multi-channel communications strategy. With a growing customer base and multiple product lines, the business is investing in automation, personalisation, and data-driven messaging across both B2B and B2C audiences.

The Role

As CRM Manager, you’ll take full ownership of lifecycle strategy and campaign delivery across email, push, and in-app. This is a hybrid role combining strategic planning with hands-on execution-designing customer journeys, building automated flows, and driving performance through personalisation and insight. You’ll also act as a key stakeholder in CRM tech, ensuring platform optimisation and clean integrations across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute multi-channel CRM campaigns for B2B and B2C audiences

  • Build automated journeys using behavioural and transactional triggers

  • Drive personalisation through segmentation and dynamic content

  • Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and data teams to align messaging with business goals

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in CRM, customer communications, or lifecycle marketing

  • Hands-on experience with campaign building and journey automation

  • Proficient with CRM platforms – Braze strongly preferred

  • Confident using customer data for personalisation and segmentation

  • Strong communicator with a performance-focused mindset

Desirable:

  • Experience managing both B2C and B2B communications

  • Familiarity with push, in-app, and multi-channel delivery

  • Understanding of data flows, integrations, and CRM architecture

THE ROLE

You will be doing the following daily:

  • Develop, enhance, and optimise credit risk and collections strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to make high-quality decisions for our customers.
  • Conduct analyses to evaluate credit portfolios against agreed-upon performance indicators, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Drive business growth by contributing to Workforce Planning and Benefits (WPB) initiatives, providing analytics for the design and implementation of new lending products, improving existing features, and managing customer exposure.
  • Take the lead on complex analytical projects, seeing them through to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Formulate and clearly communicate conclusions and proposals, considering risk, reward, and customer impact, and collaborate with teams to facilitate decision-making.
  • Identify solutions to emerging risk issues, changing priorities, project completion challenges, and areas of conflict.
  • Challenge established policies and procedures when appropriate, proposing improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure portfolio strategies and processes adhere to relevant regulations and regulatory guidance.
  • Foster strong interpersonal relationships, engaging with the broader organization to offer insights and support changes that improve customer outcomes.
  • Cultivate relationships with and contribute to the development of junior team members and offshore analysts, enhancing their knowledge, understanding, and experience.
  • Provide progress reports on initiatives to Senior Management.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience working within the Credit Risk space on secured or unsecured products.
  • Strong analytical capability, using SAS, SQL or Python
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong numerical degree for a Russel Group University
  • Strong numerical degree from a Russel Group Universities.
