- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and manage risk effectively
- Update credit risk committee with key MI on trends
- Undertake a range of credit risk analytical projects covering customer lifecycle, affordability, risk appetite and early warning indicators across multiple products
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators that may impact the company’s credit risk profile

THE ROLE
This position would be part of the wider risk team. Within this role, you would be:
- Take responsibility for developing, monitoring, and optimising acquisition, account management and collection strategies to drive results whilst preserving customer outcomes, regulatory compliance, and reputational integrity.
- Your role would also include work on decisioning scorecards, performance monitoring and identifies threats and opportunities to optimise risk strategies.
- Support development of new personal lending products and propositions, with a focus on the development of suitable credit risk strategies.
- Presenting findings from these models to management.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- A strong knowledge of SAS, SQL, or Python.
- Previous experience in a consumer lending environment.
- Knowledge of various statistical modelling techniques especially building scorecards and overall strong data analysis skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have a strong numerate/STEM degree.
