THE ROLE AND REQUIREMENTS
- Manage a team of 15 data/ IT professionals with 4 direct line management
- Understand and build data best practice internally, including a single source of truth
- 3 main aims on this role:
- Changing processes through automation and improving the scalability
- Optimising the estate and assets the company owns – this may be done through Data Science, Product development etc
- Support the Digital transformation to help customer experience and shifting touch points online
- Must have a strong understanding and grasp on data and modern data stacks
- Desire to manage a team but also be hands on with data – ability to code is key
- Ability to work with Senior stakeholders, you will be reporting into the CTO and working with other C-suite members
- Experience working in a modern data stack – Azure/AWS or GCP is a must
