The CDO is needing someone at the senior level to lead the data architecture of their new cloud platform.
THE ROLE
As a Data Architect, you will be the person to help grow the data engineering capability, lead the team, architect the data warehouse and help with the introduction of ML/AI.
Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
- Migrating from on premise to the cloud, you will be helping to architect the new cloud platform
- They may look to implement streaming technologies in real time
- Your main stakeholders will be the analysts, but the team are looking to introduce ML capabilities therefore you will be helping to implement these models
- The role will need someone who is willing to be hands on, but you will be doing a lot of design work and potentially building out the team
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Data Architect will have the following skills and experience:
- Ideally built a data warehouse using Snowflake
- Have good knowledge of cloud environments, ideally in AWS
- Will still be close to code and therefore have good Python skills
- Have worked with Airflow to orchestrate the pipelines

THE COMPANY
This company is a reputable consultancy who have had an influx of clients looking for support in helping to improve their data platforms to ensure they are ready to host AI models. They have significant reach in the financial service space and most of these clients are wanting support to implement AI in the safest way possible.
THE ROLE
As an AI Architect, you will have ideally designed data platforms at scale, solely to host, ML/DL/AI models. You will be the go-to person to lead on client projects, look at their current platforms and help replatform to ensure they are fit for purpose, ready to host the AI models that the Data Scientists have been working on. The main need is for someone who can do this in a secure way given how difficult this part has proven for clients within finance.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong system design and architecture experience
- Good cloud architecture skills with an emphasis towards data science models
- Ideally will have implement AI models and if not, ML/DL models as a minimum
- Should have consulting experience in previous roles

THE COMPANY:
This company owns several major brands selling a range of homeware equipment, operating in stores across the UK. They have brought all of their systems into one ERP to make their tech much easier to use in each brand. They are therefore going through a replatforming process to integrate all the different systems into one main place.
THE ROLE:
As a Solution Architect, you will be part of a centralised team however, they have a federated model where you will solely work with one brand to integrate their systems into their revamped ERP. They are looking for someone with Microsoft Dynamics experience as they need to integrate this as their main tool as part of the ERP replatforming
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Good experience with MS Dynamics
- Would like someone who has been a Solution Architect in their last few roles
- It would be ideal to have retail experience but it’s not essential
- A good understanding of integrating techs into an ERP system which is used to integrate platforms from multiple businesses
