THE COMPANY
Our client, an innovative company revolutionizing the construction industry, is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to tackle complex blueprint and drawing analysis challenges.
THE ROLE
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you’ll be trusted to interpret intricate construction blueprints and drawings, which involve multi-layered architectural, mechanical, and plumbing plans. Your work will be central to scaling and structuring unstructured data, ultimately leading to the development of a knowledge graph that links components like doors, walls, and electrical systems to invoices and project schedules in real time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build computer vision models to analyze, extract, and structure data from blueprints
- Develop a RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) product to link visual elements with structured data
- Enable real-time contextual insights for clients, improving decision-making on construction projects
- Work with a team of ML, NLP, and CV engineers to refine deep learning models for blueprint analysis

Our client is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-growing team focused on transforming blueprint processes through innovative technology. If this sounds like you, apply below!
About the Company
Our client is on a mission to automate and streamline the construction industry by building next-generation systems that bring structure to unstructured data. The software is designed to bring efficiency, accuracy, and insight to construction workflows. They are looking for the next addition to their intelligent and innovative team.
The Role
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will:
- Build and deploy computer vision models, including image segmentation, object detection, and 3D reconstruction, to process intricate construction blueprints and drawings.
- Layer and align blueprints of multi-story buildings, creating interactive features that link labels and bookmarks to contextual data such as dimensions, costs, and invoices.
- Work on a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system, bringing structure to unstructured data by building knowledge graphs where elements like doors, plumbing, and electrical systems are interconnected.
- Ensure data updates in real-time to accommodate design changes, impacting schedules, budgets, and client communication.
- Work closely with the NLP and ML engineers to build end-to-end solutions that integrate vision and language models.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Advanced degree in Computer Vision, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field with proven commercial experience in space.
- Strong background in:
- Image segmentation, object detection, and image classification.
- Experience with nuanced data types (e.g., satellite images, radiology scans, or schematics).
- Visual language models, multimodal modeling (text + image), and embedded systems.
- Programming proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV.
- Proven experience building production systems from scratch-design, implementation, and deployment.
- Excellent ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

THE COMPANY

Their founding team comes from big tech organizations (LinkedIn, Uber, SpaceX) where they have successfully built and deployed software into the construction space.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence to drive business insights and improve operational efficiency and a high level individual contributor.
THE ROLE
- Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms to analyze athletic performance and injury risk.
- Process and interpret visual data, including video streams, images, and sensor outputs.
- Build and maintain systems for object detection, pose estimation, and motion analysis.
- Design models to detect and track movement patterns critical to sports and injury prevention.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate computer vision models into production systems.
- Conduct experiments to improve model performance and scalability.
- Explore new applications of computer vision in the sports domain and identify areas for growth and innovation.
- Optimize data infrastructure to efficiently handle large-scale video and sensor data.
- Work closely with the leadership team to align computer vision initiatives with broader business goals.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in a high-growth start-up environment or the sports industry is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience with computer vision technologies and frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Proven success driving projects from ideation to deployment in computer vision applications.
- Expertise in developing and deploying models for tasks such as object detection, pose estimation, and image segmentation.
- Familiarity with large-scale video processing and real-time performance optimization.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with related libraries and tools.
