THE COMPANY
This early-stage, VC-backed startup is developing an AI-driven platform focused on simplifying and automating a traditionally complex area of infrastructure management. Their technology helps technical teams save time and reduce costs by streamlining operations across major cloud environments.
THE ROLE – BACKEND SOFTWARE ENGINEER
You’ll join a lean, high-performing engineering team as a Backend Software Engineer. This is a core software engineering role focused on data and infrastructure-heavy development. You’ll help tackle a large backlog of projects with a focus on building fast and building well.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and scaling internal APIs and infrastructure
- Collaborating closely with other engineers across the stack
- Working across multiple products and services
- Contributing to architectural decisions in a flat, fast-moving environment
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficient in Python, AWS, and SQL
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with ETL and data ingestion pipelines
- Background in fast-paced startups preferred
- Strong computer science fundamentals
BENEFITS
Salary range of $160,000-$180,000 plus equity. The team works hybrid from a West Village office 3 days a week (flexible on which days). They also offer 2 weeks off in the winter and an additional week off in the summer.
