This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys combining supply chain expertise with advanced analytics. You'll inherit a small team with significant scope to expand, implement new processes, and influence executive decision-making across a global organization.

The Role

Reporting into the VP of Supply Chain, you'll own inventory planning strategy across a large product portfolio while developing the analytical capabilities that drive forecasting, replenishment, and inventory optimization.

This role is ideal for someone who has led inventory planning within a complex manufacturing or distribution environment and is comfortable leveraging data to improve operational performance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide inventory planning and optimization strategies
  • Build scalable reporting and dashboards to improve inventory visibility and decision-making
  • Use statistical analysis to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory health
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Analytics teams to drive business decisions
  • Lead inventory optimization initiatives across multiple distribution locations
  • Develop KPIs and performance metrics around service levels, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, and working capital
  • Build and mentor a growing inventory planning team
  • Influence executive stakeholders through data-driven recommendations
  • Support ongoing supply chain transformation initiatives and process improvements

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience across inventory planning, demand planning, supply chain, or inventory optimization
  • Experience managing complex SKU portfolios within manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or other product-based environments
  • Strong analytical background with the ability to translate data into business decisions
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Strong SQL skills preferred
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar)
  • Knowledge of forecasting methodologies, inventory optimization, and statistical analysis
  • Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree required

Nice to Have

  • ABC inventory segmentation
  • Forecasting for low-volume or difficult-to-predict products
  • Inventory optimization modelling
  • Supply chain network or multi-site planning experience
  • Experience supporting ERP or planning system implementations

Why Apply?

  • Opportunity to build and shape a growing inventory planning function
  • High visibility role reporting into executive leadership
  • Significant investment in modernizing analytics and planning capabilities
  • Blend of strategic leadership and hands-on analytical work
  • Collaborative culture with strong executive support
  • Competitive compensation and bonus package
