Senior Product Analyst

London (Hybrid - 2 Days a Week in Office)

£70,000-£75,000

Are you a Senior Product Analyst with strong SQL skills and a proven track record in experimentation and A/B testing? This is an opportunity to join a global sports and technology business, working with large-scale digital data to understand user behaviour, evaluate product performance and influence product development. The focus is on robust experimentation, statistical analysis and turning complex data into actionable insights. If you enjoy challenging results, understanding what drives user engagement and helping shape digital products used by millions, this could be an excellent next step for you!

The Company

You'll be joining a global sports, technology and digital content business operating across London, New York, Tel Aviv and beyond. The company sits at the intersection of sports, content and technology, building digital products and experiences used by millions of sports fans worldwide. Following a recent rebrand, the business continues to invest in its technology platform and digital proposition. With a strong focus on improving product experiences and driving engagement, analytics plays a central role in informing product decisions and measuring the impact of change.

The Role

As the Senior Product Analyst, you'll work closely with Product, Engineering and wider stakeholders to understand user behaviour, evaluate product performance and drive evidence-based decision-making. A key focus will be experimentation, including assessing A/B tests from a statistical perspective, interpreting results and challenging findings to ensure product decisions are supported by robust evidence.

You will:

  • Lead analysis of A/B tests and product experiments, evaluating outcomes and measuring their impact.
  • Apply statistical thinking to experimentation, challenging assumptions and ensuring results are interpreted correctly.
  • Use SQL to interrogate large-scale datasets and event-level data to understand user journeys and product engagement.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
  • Support the development and optimisation of digital products, including interactive features, games and account functionality.
  • Work with stakeholders to improve event tracking, measurement and the quality of data used to inform product decisions.
  • Contribute to audience and customer analytics where required, while maintaining a core focus on product performance and experimentation.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to have a genuine influence on how digital products evolve, using rigorous analysis and experimentation to understand what works, why it works and where further improvements can be made!

Your Skills & Experience

I am looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Product Analytics experience, with a strong understanding of digital products, user behaviour and product performance.
  • Strong A/B testing and experimentation experience, including interpreting results and challenging experiments from a statistical perspective.
  • Excellent SQL skills, with experience querying large-scale datasets, ideally involving millions of rows or user events.
  • A solid understanding of statistical analysis and the ability to distinguish meaningful findings from misleading or inconclusive results.
  • Experience working with event-level data, digital engagement metrics and product measurement.
  • The ability to communicate analytical findings clearly and influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.

Experience with a cloud data warehouse is beneficial, although you don't need to have worked with BigQuery specifically

The key requirement is a genuine Product Analytics background combined with strong experimentation expertise and SQL skills. Candidates with experience primarily in customer or audience analytics may be considered, but the strongest applicants will have hands-on experience in product analytics and statistical experimentation.

The Benefits

  • £70,000-£75,000
