Analytics Engineer

US Remote (EST/CST preference)

$110-130k base

We're partnering with a global travel management organization that is making a significant investment in its data and analytics capabilities and is looking for an Analytics Engineer to help build and scale its next generation analytics platform.

The role sits across data engineering, analytics, and product, turning complex data into trusted, scalable analytics products used by teams internally and by customers around the world.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain analytical data models that support reporting, dashboards, and customer facing data products
  • Transform raw data into clean, reliable, and reusable datasets
  • Develop semantic models and consistent business metrics across the organization
  • Build dashboards, visualizations, and embedded analytics experiences
  • Partner with business, product, IT, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable data solutions
  • Improve the performance, reliability, and usability of analytics products
  • Support data quality, governance, documentation, and compliance
  • Help establish best practices around testing, version control, and analytics engineering workflows

What We're Looking For

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Hands on experience with dbt, including building, testing, documenting, and maintaining transformation models
  • Experience building analytical and semantic data models
  • Strong understanding of the full data lifecycle, from pipelines and warehousing through to reporting and analytics
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Azure Data Lake
  • Experience with BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Experience with Python, Scala, R, or another language used in data and analytics engineering
  • Understanding of data quality, query performance, testing, and optimization
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience building embedded analytics or customer facing data products
  • Exposure to React, Vue.js, or other frontend technologies
  • Experience with APIs and application integrations
  • Experience with data governance, security, or compliance frameworks
  • Experience working across AWS, Azure, or GCP
