Head of Marketing Analytics
London (Hybrid – 3 Days a Week in Office)
£120,000-£150,000 + Bonus
Are you a hands-on Marketing Analytics leader who wants to build something from the ground up? This is an opportunity to take ownership of a growing Marketing Analytics function within a high-growth neobank, shaping how the business measures acquisition, marketing effectiveness and customer growth. In this role you’ll lead a team of experienced analysts while remaining technically hands-on yourself, building the frameworks, measurement capability and analytical approach that will underpin the next stage of growth.
The Company
This is a fast-growing UK FinTech and digital bank that has evolved significantly from its origins as a personal lending business. The business has built a strong customer base through digital acquisition and comparison platforms and is now expanding its product offering across everyday banking, savings, investments, credit and lending. With a large customer base, significant investment in data and analytics and ambitious growth plans, the business is now entering an important stage in the development of its Marketing Analytics capability. Marketing Analytics has historically been fragmented across different teams, but the business is now centralising the capability within its wider Analytics function, creating a genuine opportunity for a new Head of Marketing Analytics to define what best-in-class looks like.
The Role
As Head of Marketing Analytics, you’ll report directly into the senior Analytics leadership team and manage a team of three Marketing Analysts, with further growth planned. This is not a strategy-only leadership role: You’ll need to be comfortable getting into the detail, reviewing analytical approaches, coding and building the foundations of the function yourself. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Growth, CRM, Product and Analytics stakeholders to establish a clear measurement strategy and turn complex data into better commercial decisions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead, coach and develop a growing team of Marketing Analysts.
- Define the long-term vision and strategy for Marketing Analytics.
- Build and improve marketing measurement and attribution frameworks.
- Develop a robust approach to multi-channel acquisition measurement.
- Own app and web-to-app measurement, particularly around paid acquisition.
- Connect acquisition activity through to activation, retention and customer LTV.
- Partner with Marketing and Growth to understand what is driving performance and where investment should be made.
- Improve the maturity of Marketing Analytics frameworks, processes and ways of working.
- Translate strategic business questions into practical analytical approaches.
- Challenge analytical thinking and maintain high standards of technical rigour.
- Work hands-on with data and code where required rather than simply directing from a distance.
- Help establish the roadmap for more advanced measurement approaches, including incrementality, experimentation and Marketing Mix Modelling.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to senior commercial stakeholders.
This is an exciting 0-to-100 opportunity; there is plenty of historical data and a significant amount of groundwork to do, but equally a huge opportunity to build a genuinely impactful Marketing Analytics capability.
Your Skills & Experience
I’m looking for someone who combines strong technical Marketing Analytics expertise with proven people leadership.
You’ll ideally have:
- Significant experience in Marketing Analytics, Growth Analytics, Customer Analytics or a closely related discipline.
- Previous experience managing and developing analysts.
- Strong hands-on experience in an app-led B2C or D2C environment.
- Demonstrable experience measuring and driving app conversions and acquisition.
- Strong understanding of app attribution and paid acquisition measurement.
- Experience connecting app installs through to activation, retention and LTV.
- Strong web analytics experience, particularly GA4.
- Experience working across platforms such as AppsFlyer, Meta and Google Ads.
- Strong SQL and technical analytical capability.
- Experience working across both web and app analytics.
- The ability to operate comfortably between senior-level strategy and hands-on analytical detail.
- A track record of building or improving Marketing Analytics capabilities rather than simply maintaining an established function.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience with Amplitude, CRM analytics, experimentation, incrementality, multi-touch attribution or Marketing Mix Modelling would also be highly valuable. You’ll need to be someone who can genuinely do the work. High-level strategic thinking alone won’t be enough; the successful candidate will be expected to understand the existing data landscape, identify immediate priorities and make practical decisions about what can be built now versus what comes later. Experience in FinTech, financial services, subscriptions, eCommerce or another digitally led B2C environment would be hugely beneficial.
The Benefits
- £120,000-£150,000 salary
- Up to 15% bonus
- Private medical
- 7% pension
- Opportunity to work abroad for up to 120 days per year, subject to eligibility
- Brand-new office
- Strong opportunities for progression and technical development
- Opportunity to shape a newly centralised Analytics capability within a high-growth FinTech

CRM Manager
Up to £50,000
Hybrid – Nottingham (1 day per week)
I’m hiring a Donor Engagement & Retention Manager for a well-established international humanitarian charity undergoing a major transformation in how fundraising is delivered globally.
This is a newly created role with a rare opportunity: build the donor retention function from the ground up and shape how the organisation engages, retains, and grows its supporter base.
The organisation
An international humanitarian charity working across more than 30 countries, delivering emergency relief alongside long-term programmes focused on education, healthcare, livelihoods, and clean water.
Following a wider organisational transformation, fundraising activity is becoming more centrally coordinated, creating an exciting opportunity to build a more strategic approach to supporter engagement and retention.
The role
Reporting into the Head of Fundraising Operations, you’ll take ownership of retention strategy across the organisation’s donor base.
This is not a campaign delivery role alone. They’re looking for someone who can:
- Build a retention strategy from scratch
- Understand donor behaviour and audience segments
- Create meaningful supporter journeys
- Develop testing and optimisation frameworks
- Improve donor engagement and repeat giving
- Help shape the future retention function
The acquisition side is already established. The next phase is understanding how to retain supporters more effectively and maximise long-term donor value.
What you’ll be doing
Donor Retention & Engagement
- Develop and implement a donor retention strategy across:
- One-off donors
- Regular givers
- Major donors
- Lapsed supporters
- Build onboarding, nurture, feedback, and reactivation journeys.
- Create meaningful supporter experiences that improve engagement and retention.
CRM & Journey Development
- Use donor data and audience insights to develop segmented communication strategies.
- Build multi-channel journeys across:
- SMS
- Web
- Social media
- Telemarketing
- Develop testing plans to understand what drives repeat donations and supporter loyalty.
Analytics & Performance
- Monitor retention and engagement KPIs.
- Develop reporting and performance frameworks.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness and donor lifetime value.
Leadership & Team Development
- Initially work across existing teams and stakeholders.
- Help shape and build a future retention team (planned growth to approximately six people).
- Work closely with Donor Care, Marketing, Content, and Fundraising teams.
What they’re looking for
Essential
- CRM, retention, lifecycle, or supporter engagement experience.
- Experience building customer or donor journeys.
- Strong understanding of segmentation and campaign optimisation.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to guide decisions.
- Experience measuring communication performance and retention outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable operating autonomously and building new processes.
Highly desirable
- Fundraising or charity-sector experience.
- Donor retention experience.
- CRM and supporter engagement programmes.
- Experience building retention functions or strategies from scratch.
Tech
The charity is open on background and tools, but currently uses:
- Engage CRM
- SendGrid
- SMS platforms
Tool experience matters less than understanding retention, engagement, and customer journeys.
Why this role?
- Brand-new role with genuine ownership.
- Opportunity to build a retention function from scratch.
- Existing donor base and clean data foundations already in place.
- Significant freedom to shape strategy and ways of working.
- Meaningful mission with global impact.
- Strong support from leadership and fundraising teams.
- Opportunity to build and develop a future team.
Package
- Up to £50,000 salary
- Hybrid working (1 day per week in Nottingham)
- Potential occasional London travel
- 35-hour working week
- Strong opportunity for progression as the fundraising function expands
Interview process
Stage 1: 30-minute discussion with the Head of Fundraising
Stage 2: Task and presentation exercise
This role would suit someone currently working in:
- CRM & Retention
- Customer Lifecycle Marketing
- Supporter Engagement
- Donor Development
- Loyalty & Retention
- Fundraising Marketing
who wants the opportunity to build something from the ground up and have a visible impact on supporter engagement and long-term fundraising performance.
