This is an opportunity to lead the delivery of a highly innovative financial advice initiative within a regulated financial services environment. You will play a key role in shaping a programme from an early stage, bringing structure, pace, and clarity to a complex cross-functional project with significant business impact.
The Company
They are a growing financial services organisation focused on helping customers make better long-term financial decisions through digital-first products and services. Operating within a regulated environment, they combine technology, customer insight, and strong governance to deliver innovative solutions at scale. This assignment will support the launch of a new advice-related service, requiring close collaboration across technology, compliance, risk, and business teams.
The Role and Deliverables
  • Lead programme delivery for a major financial advice initiative, ensuring alignment across business and technology functions.
  • Drive programme planning, prioritisation, governance, and delivery execution within a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Chair senior governance forums and communicate programme progress, risks, and key decisions to executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Insights teams to manage dependencies and maintain delivery momentum.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring appropriate controls are considered throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Adapt plans and delivery approaches as requirements evolve while maintaining stakeholder confidence and project focus.
Your Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience delivering complex technology programmes within regulated financial services environments.
  • Deep understanding of wealth management, financial products, customer journeys, and the associated regulatory landscape.
  • Demonstrated capability leading large-scale initiatives involving cross-functional stakeholders and evolving requirements.
  • Experience navigating regulatory considerations related to financial advice and guidance services.
  • Ability to manage scope, priorities, and stakeholder expectations within structured change management frameworks.
  • Confidence engaging with senior leadership and executive stakeholders, including leading governance forums and steering committees.
  • Strong judgement, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
  • Proven track record of proactively managing programme risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
