As an specialist in the integration team you will be overseeing the integrations within the azure ecosystem and making sure everything runs smoothly.
Job Overview:
As an Azure Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance applications and ensure seamless connectivity between various systems and applications. Your role will involve problem-solving, development, and optimization of cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data flows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop integration solutions using Azure services like Logic Apps, API Management, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.
- Lead the integration of on-premises and cloud systems, ensuring data flow and process consistency.
- Create and manage APIs and secure data transmission between various systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure scalable and robust integration architecture.
- Monitor and optimize integration performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver integration solutions.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance of integration processes and data.
- Troubleshoot integration-related issues and provide ongoing support for deployed solutions.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices to continually improve the integration ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, SOA, microservices, and enterprise application integration.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and infrastructure as code (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform).
- Knowledge of Azure security best practices and data governance.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for deploying integration solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer).
- Familiarity with other integration platforms and technologies (e.g., BizTalk, MuleSoft).
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

About the Role

As a Medior Data Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing our data capabilities, working alongside a talented team of engineers, scientists, and analysts. You’ll contribute to our robust AWS-based data stack, which includes tools such as Airflow, Redshift, dbt, Spark, Kubernetes (Fargate), and Terraform. This position offers hands-on opportunities in data engineering, with the potential to assume ownership of specific technical processes over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- DataOps Support: Optimize and maintain data pipelines, automate workflows, and troubleshoot systems while collaborating with DevOps and documenting processes.
- Hands-On Data Engineering: Build and refine data pipelines, integrate external data sources via APIs, and manage pipeline incident resolution.
- Ownership Opportunities: Take initiative within data engineering projects, with the chance to gradually assume ownership of technical processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams across the company to meet ad hoc data requirements, ensuring data engineering supports broader company goals.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong software engineering background.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python, Java, Scala, etc.).
- Familiarity with distributed computing technologies, particularly Spark.
- Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow and ELT frameworks like dbt.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) and software engineering best practices (KISS, DRY principles).
- Strong communication skills to explain technical problems to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative team player with curiosity and resilience to tackle diverse challenges.
