Senior Strategic Media Buyer
- 15 Hours Per Week

This fractional contract offers the chance to take ownership of high impact paid media strategy for established DTC brands, without the noise of full agency delivery. You will focus on commercial outcomes, incrementality and scalable growth, working closely with senior stakeholders in a lean, performance driven environment.
The Company:
They are a specialist performance marketing agency supporting a small portfolio of high SKU direct to consumer brands within fashion accessories and footwear. The agency partners with well capitalised businesses in active growth mode, with a clear focus on blended efficiency, contribution margin and long term value. Their approach prioritises strategic thinking, data fluency and measurable business impact over platform level metrics.
The Role and Deliverables:
* Lead paid media strategy across Meta and Google for multiple fashion ecommerce brands, setting clear scaling roadmaps and budget allocation frameworks
* Define and optimise product catalogue and feed strategy at scale, aligned to inventory, margin and seasonality
* Build and oversee creative testing frameworks, providing clear strategic direction and feedback to creative and delivery teams
* Own holistic performance analysis across Shopify, attribution platforms and GA4, forming a defensible view of incrementality and true paid contribution
* Provide strategic oversight and quality assurance for junior media buyers, raising the standard of execution and decision making
* Deliver biweekly strategic reporting tied to commercial outcomes such as MER, CAC and LTV dynamics
Your Skills and Experience:
* Strong experience leading paid social and paid search strategy for ecommerce brands (ideally D2C) with large product catalogues
* Deep expertise across Meta Ads, including Advantage Plus Shopping, dynamic product ads and scalable account structures
* Proven capability designing and managing Google Ads and Performance Max strategies within retail environments
* Advanced understanding of Shopify analytics, blended performance measurement, LTV analysis and contribution margin thinking
* Confidence reconciling multiple attribution sources and translating data into clear strategic recommendations
* Experience working in agencies doing more than $10 million a year

They are a well established financial services business operating under a banking licence, providing a range of lending and insurance related products. While part of a larger international group, the UK business operates with the autonomy of a smaller organisation, offering both stability and agility. The credit function has been expanding rapidly, with clear investment in risk and modelling capability.
The Role
- Take ownership of credit risk models across PD, LGD and EAD, covering development, monitoring, validation and ongoing enhancements.
- Lead IFRS 9 model redevelopment and transition of ownership to the UK, working closely with international modelling teams.
- Deliver back testing, performance monitoring and parameter calibration to ensure robust provisioning outcomes.
- Contribute to ICAAP modelling and stress testing activity.
- Produce high quality model documentation and support audit and regulatory interactions.
- Support the longer term expansion into behavioural scorecards and other modelling areas.
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience in credit risk modelling within a regulated financial services or banking environment.
- Hands on development experience with PD or LGD models is essential.
- Exposure to IFRS 9, stress testing or capital modelling.
- Strong statistical background with a STEM degree or equivalent quantitative training.
- Advanced SAS capability, with working knowledge of Python or similar tools.
- Confident communicator able to explain technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience
