THE COMPANY
This well-known insurance company have a global presence and they are looking to expand their UK Data team. They are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join their current team, working alongside other analysts and engineers focusing purely on price optimisation & risk pricing projects.
THE ROLE
As a Data Scientist for the business you will:
- Analyse both structured and unstructured data to build machine learning models focused on price optimisation
- You’ll be looking at what’s the best price to sell insurance, what are the risks, what are competitors prices and looking at how risky customers are
- Liaise with stakeholders across the business to understand their business needs, turn them into technical requirements for the team and ensure projects are completed accurately
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in a numerical or relevant field is preferred
- Experience working in Insurance would be beneficial
- Commercial experience working on pricing models
