Frontend Engineer Manager
$170,000 – $190,000 + 10% bonus

Join our team as a Frontend Engineering Manager where you will build, mentor, and manage a team of frontend engineers to achieve consistent delivery of high-quality technical solutions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drive high performance within the front-end team by setting clear goals and expectations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify growth opportunities.
- Be a hands-on leader to resolve technical challenges and create organized, clean, and maintainable code while contributing to long-term system scalability and team productivity.
- Promote best practices in React, Next.js, and Cloudflare deployment to ensure fast, scalable applications.
- Establish and refine processes and metrics to improve team performance, enhance system reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to align development efforts with business goals.
- Participate in lively technology discussions where your opinion is truly valued.
- Strategically scale the engineering team, and be a part of improving the hiring process for engineers.
- Conduct code reviews and encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project deadlines.
- Drive improvements in performance, accessibility, and security.
- Ensure that timelines and deliverables are consistently met across multiple applications.
- Unify our tech stack across products and build an internal library to ensure consistency.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science with at least 8 years working experience on an enterprise-level application.
- 5+ years of frontend development experience, with deep expertise in React and Next.js.
- 2+ years of engineering management experience, leading teams of 5+ engineers including recruitment, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams.
- Strong background in building and deploying applications on Cloudflare or similar platforms.
- Experience working on multiple applications simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring engineers.
- Broad experience working with software architecture and design.
- Experience leading teams deploying software to a cloud environment.
- Adapts well to working with emerging technologies.
- Strong technical base and innovative mindset.

Our Client is a fast-growing advertising technology company looking for talented engineers to advance our world-class advertising platform for some of the world’s largest brands.
Role and Responsibilities
- Leverage technical expertise to produce organized, clean, and maintainable code.
- Develop tools and libraries to expand our automation capabilities.
- Achieve tangible outcomes by taking full ownership of product features, overseeing them from conceptualization through to deployment, ensuring seamless execution.
- Work closely with our product management and program teams to define feature specifications and build products that meet and exceed expectations.
- Demonstrate proactive ownership by establishing expertise in a specific component, feature, or system, possessing comprehensive end-to-end understanding.
- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
- Ensure business requirements are met through automated tests.
- Be an integral part of creating software best practices that incorporate new technologies.
- Make recommendations and implement new product features that improve our client experience and performance.
- Optimize and refactor existing code.

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science desired) with at least seven years of work experience or equivalent total work experience on an enterprise-level applications.
- Strong coding fundamentals with experience coding in high-level languages (e.g. GoLang, PHP or Java).
- Experience working with a large multi-contributor Git repository.
- Experience working with SQL and No-SQL databases (SQL Server, Postgres, Redis, Aerospike).
- Previous experience running large scale applications in AWS/Azure.
- Strong preference for experience working on an Adtech platform.
- Adapt well to working with emerging technologies.
- Strong technical base and innovative mindset.
- Experience mentoring teammates.

The Data Science team applies advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to create predictive models used inUnderwriting, Account Management, and Operations. They are looking for Senior Manager of Data Science to lead a small team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of data scientists to deliver predictive models, risk models, and analytical solutions that drive business value.
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning algorithms for use across various functions including Underwriting, Marketing, and Operations.
- Collaborate with business partners to meet goals and support various teams and portfolios.
- Communication is very important for this role. This individual will presenting findings and communicating with execs and stakeholders. As well as communicating with their team.
- Process and analyze large datasets using tools like Python, Spark, and Snowflake.
- Implement and test machine learning algorithms for risk management in acquisition channels.
- Apply data mining techniques to minimize credit/fraud losses and optimize product profitability.
- Manage the implementation of scoring models on decision platforms, including the cloud.
- Provide expertise on third-party data sources (e.g., TransUnion, Experian) and guide effective data usage.
- Document models and processes using tools like Jupyter Notebook and Rmarkdown.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.); Ph.D. preferred.
- At least six years of experience in data science or risk modeling, with three years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in machine learning techniques (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, LASSO, etc.).
- Strong data manipulation and engineering skills.
- Proficiency in Python, R, Java, Linux, and big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake).
- Experience with database technologies (NoSQL, JSON/XML parsing, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
