MASTER DATA LEAD
2 DAYS PER WEEK IN THE OFFICE (BIRMINGHAM)
3 – 6 MONTH CONTRACT
THE COMPANY:
Join an international company and help support establish a new Master Data function.
THE ROLE:
As a Master Data Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in setting up the UK capability – cleansing existing data, defining new processes, and ensuring alignment between business and data teams. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the setup of a new Master Data team in the UK, in collaboration with the global team.
- Lead data cleansing and standardisation efforts across customer, supply chain, and operations data.
- Assess current data structures and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Design and document master data management processes for ongoing use.
- Partner with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to align business needs with data accuracy.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The successful Master Data Lead will have:
- Strong background in Master Data Management (MDM), ideally within large or international organisations.
- Proven experience in data cleansing, data quality improvement, and process creation.
- Excellent understanding of both business and data operations – more business-facing than purely technical.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably IFS or similar.

Implementation Analyst
Up to £55,000
Hybrid – Birmingham (2x days a week)
We are working with a leading national organisation in the hospitality sector, operating across thousands of locations in the UK. They are looking for an Implementation Specialist to join their central digital team and take ownership of the tagging and data layer implementation strategy across their website and mobile app estate.
The Role
As the Implementation Specialist, you will:
- Own the tagging and data layer implementation roadmap, balancing long-term strategy with short-term operations.
- Partner with digital product teams to understand upcoming projects and ensure effective delivery of tagging and analytics solutions.
- Manage the relationship with a third-party vendor supporting tagging and data layer development, including budget oversight.
- Lead continuous data quality reviews, including Google Tag Manager container management and monitoring of data layer tags.
- Support the delivery of A/B and multivariate testing (MVT) initiatives to optimise landing pages and conversion funnels.
Key Responsibilities
- Create robust processes for tagging and data layer implementation across digital assets.
- Define data layer requirements and work with developers on deployment.
- Implement, debug, and troubleshoot analytics and marketing tags.
- Ensure high-quality tagging and data layers to enable accurate reporting and analysis.
Skills & Experience
- Strong background as an implementation specialist.
- Hands-on experience with Tag Management Systems (ideally Google Tag Manager).
- Experience using analytics platforms such as GA4, Firebase, or similar.
- Solid knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

I’m working with a growing financial services business that’s investing heavily in its data function. With a lean structure, a clear mandate, and strong backing, they’re rebuilding their Data Governance capability – and looking for someone to lead from the front.
You’ll join a business where everyone pitches in, leadership is accessible, and your voice will genuinely shape the way data is managed and protected.
THE ROLE:
As Data Governance Manager, you’ll be the key figure in adapting, embedding, and owning governance frameworks across the business. You’ll support privacy workflows, drive best practices, and work closely with teams across customer, operations, and data science to get things done.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and evolve data governance processes and frameworks
- Support privacy management and internal assessment reviews
- Perform gap analysis and implement actionable improvements
- Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and project teams
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
A successful Data Governance Manager will bring:
- Experience within financial services or a heavily regulated industry
- Strong understanding of governance, data privacy, and risk frameworks
- Confident communicator with the ability to build stakeholder trust
- Previous line management or mentoring experience
Bonus points for:
- SQL or technical literacy to support data discussions
