This is a hands-on implementation role where you will own digital tracking across web and app platforms. It stands out for its focus on delivery rather than reporting, giving you the opportunity to build and optimise robust tracking solutions while developing in high-demand areas such as app analytics.

The Company
They are a large international retail organisation with a multi-brand portfolio and a strong digital presence across Europe. Their central digital function brings together specialists across UX, content, and online performance, working collaboratively to drive scalable solutions. The analytics and tracking capability operates as an internal agency, supporting multiple brands across different markets. They offer a fast-paced, collaborative environment where technical ownership is encouraged.

The Role
  • Own end-to-end tag implementation using Google Tag Manager across web platforms
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define tracking requirements and deliver solutions independently
  • Build and maintain data layers to support accurate and scalable tracking
  • Implement, test and debug tags, triggers and variables to ensure data quality
  • Support mobile app tracking initiatives, with exposure to tools such as GA4 and Firebase
  • Partner with product, UX and development teams to embed tracking into digital journeys
  • Ensure all implementations are compliant with GDPR and cookie consent requirements
  • Act as a confident point of contact for non-technical stakeholders, translating requirements into delivery
Your Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience implementing tracking using Google Tag Manager and GA4
  • Proven ability to set up tagging directly, rather than purely analysing or reporting
  • Solid understanding of data layers, tag configuration and QA processes
  • Experience working within GDPR and cookie consent frameworks
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience in an agency or fast-paced, cross-functional environment is highly beneficial
  • Interest in developing skills in mobile app tracking and new analytics tools
What They Offer
  • Competitive salary and bonus potential
  • Hybrid working model
  • Opportunity to gain experience in app tracking and emerging analytics capabilities
  • Collaborative team with strong exposure across multiple brands and markets
  • Ongoing learning and development within a growing digital function
  • Additional benefits including wellbeing support and retail discounts
