Senior Product Analyst

Up to £70,000 + 10% Annual Share Award

The Company

A leading UK consumer technology business is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join its growing Product Analytics function. Operating one of the UK's largest digital marketplaces, the business connects millions of customers every month through an advanced digital platform and has built one of the UK's most mature Product Analytics capabilities.

Significant investment has been made across Product, Engineering, Data and AI, with analytics playing a central role in shaping customer experiences. Rather than relying on traditional web analytics, the business has developed a sophisticated event-level tracking infrastructure, providing analysts with rich behavioural data to drive product decisions.

This role sits within the Growth team, partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing and Data Scientists to improve personalisation, experimentation and customer decision-making across a high-traffic consumer platform.

Why Join?

  • Join one of the UK's leading consumer technology businesses.
  • Work on digital products used by millions of customers every month.
  • Be part of a highly mature Product Analytics function with a dedicated analytics community.
  • Work with a modern data stack and rich event-level behavioural data.
  • Influence product strategy through experimentation and behavioural analytics.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering and Data Science in cross-functional squads.
  • Gain high visibility with senior stakeholders and product leadership.
  • Excellent long-term career progression within a large analytics organisation.

The Team

You'll join a Product Analytics and Data Science function of over 30 analytics specialists, working within a wider Product & Technology organisation of more than 400 people.

This is a senior individual contributor role where you'll combine technical excellence with commercial thinking, partnering with stakeholders across Product and Engineering while mentoring other analysts and helping establish best practice across the wider analytics community.

The Role

This is a Senior Product Analytics position with a strong focus on behavioural analytics, experimentation and statistical analysis.

You'll take ownership of analytical projects from discovery through to implementation, helping Product and Engineering teams make better commercial decisions through data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse customer behaviour using large-scale event-level datasets.
  • Develop product performance metrics and audience measurement frameworks.
  • Design, analyse and evaluate A/B tests and experimentation programmes.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers and Marketing teams to improve customer journeys.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Influence senior stakeholders using data-driven insights.
  • Support the development and improvement of tracking and measurement capabilities.
  • Mentor junior analysts and promote best practice across the analytics function.
  • Independently own projects from discovery through to delivery.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Python and/or PySpark experience.
  • Experience within Product Analytics or Digital Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of experimentation and A/B testing.
  • Good grounding in statistics and analytical methodologies.
  • Experience analysing customer and user behaviour.
  • Experience working with event-level behavioural datasets.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience partnering with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
  • Commercial mindset focused on improving customer outcomes.
  • Experience with enterprise web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or similar is advantageous.

Package & Benefits

  • Salary up to £70,000 (with flexibility for exceptional candidates).
  • 10% annual share award, giving employees long-term ownership in the business.
  • Hybrid working with three office days per week (Tuesday-Thursday).
  • 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and additional Christmas and New Year office closures.
  • Industry-leading remote working flexibility, including designated remote-first periods each year where employees can work from anywhere in the UK-and selected international locations-for up to six consecutive weeks during the summer and up to four consecutive weeks during the winter. This offers the flexibility to travel, spend extended time with family, or work from another location without using annual leave.
  • Competitive pension scheme, private medical cover, enhanced family leave and a comprehensive wellbeing package.
  • Opportunity to work within one of the UK's strongest Product Analytics environments alongside experienced analysts, data scientists and product teams, with clear progression opportunities as the analytics function continues to grow.
