Data Analyst / Advisor 8 - 12 Month FTC Central London (Hybrid - 2 days per week in office)

We're hiring a Data Analyst to join a highly respected trade body representing 90% of the UK insurance market. Working at the heart of the industry, you'll play a key role in collecting, analysing, and delivering insights that shape decision-making across insurers, policy, and media.

This is a varied, insight-led role where you'll work with a mix of internal data and external sources such as market research, survey data, and regulatory data-sets. You'll help deliver impactful analysis on industry performance, diversity & inclusion, and key market trends, supporting both internal teams and external members.

The role:

  • Analyse large data-sets from internal and third-party sources
  • Deliver insights and reporting on market performance, trends, and industry topics
  • Support data collection processes across member organisations
  • Build dashboards and visualisations (Power BI)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across policy, media, and external partners

What we're looking for:

  • Strong SQL and Excel skills, plus experience with a visualisation tool (Power BI preferred)
  • Background working with third-party or market research data
  • Experience turning data into clear, practical insights
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • 3+ year's experience in analytics
