The Role

- Supporting A/B testing and experimentation alongside the Customer Journey team.
- Carrying out web analytics QA, including tagging, data-layer and tracking validation.
- Bringing together data from marketing, customer and inventory sources.
- Supporting the development of the reporting environment as the team moves towards Databricks and Power BI.
- Helping develop scalable and increasingly automated reporting across the business.
The role will also involve working with developers and product teams to identify and resolve tracking issues, as well as supporting the QA of experiments before and after launch.
Your Skills & Experience
I am looking for someone with strong analytical ability who can combine technical skills with excellent stakeholder communication.
You’ll ideally have:
- Good Experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
- Good SQL skills.
- A background in retail, e-commerce or another customer-focused environment where understanding customer journeys is important.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to turn analysis into clear, commercially relevant insights rather than simply producing reports.
- Experience with dashboards, reporting and data visualisation.
- An understanding of experimentation, A/B testing and web tracking would be highly beneficial.

The Role and Deliverables
- Lead and support the insight function during a period of senior leadership absence.
- Prepare the organisation for a forthcoming regulatory inspection and help coordinate insight-related activities.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Chief Customer Officer, to understand customer priorities and organisational processes.
- Review existing reporting, processes, and operational performance measures to ensure inspection readiness.
- Deliver deep-dive analysis to support business decision making and identify areas of improvement.

Your Skills & Experience

The Role
As a MarTech Engineer, you will work closely with senior technology and marketing stakeholders to connect customer data, marketing technology and engineering.
You will:
- Build and optimise automated customer journeys across email and other marketing channels.
- Analyse customer behaviour to identify valuable cohorts, conversion opportunities and points of drop-off.
- Use SQL and BigQuery to interrogate customer and behavioural data.
- Develop re-engagement journeys for customers who do not complete key conversion steps.
- Translate marketing requirements into technical rules, processes and scalable automations.
- Build and maintain integrations between customer, CRM, marketing and wider business systems.
- Develop reliable conversion data feeds into advertising platforms.

- Strong commercial experience working across MarTech, marketing engineering, CRM engineering or a similar technical marketing environment.
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying and interpreting customer or behavioural datasets.
- Experience with BigQuery or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
- Development experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
- Experience building integrations, APIs, data feeds or automated workflows between platforms.
- Understanding of CRM and marketing automation technology.
- Experience working with digital advertising, remarketing or conversion tracking.
- Ability to translate marketing objectives into robust technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys, conversion funnels and data-led optimisation.
