I'm working exclusively with a high-growth technology company (~$32B valuation) that builds complex, hardware-integrated systems. They've scaled from 1,500 to nearly 8,000 employees in three years and are investing heavily in data as a core operational advantage.
This isn't a dashboards role. You'll own the data ontology for a specific domain - Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Operations - and build the workflows and data products that change how the business actually runs.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the data modelling for your domain, building reusable entities that reflect how the business operates
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and turn them into secure, accurate, and extensible data models
- Proactively seek out problems that can be solved with data and drive them to completion

About the Role
We are partnering with a leading real estate marketplace business to appoint an Interim Senior Manager, Strategic Pricing to provide immediate leadership coverage during a critical transition period.
Over the past 18 months, the business has established its pricing function using a team largely built from analytics and data science backgrounds. As the organisation matures, they are now looking to bring in specialist commercial pricing expertise to strengthen strategic decision-making, governance, and execution.
This contractor will act as the day-to-day lead of the pricing team, ensuring continuity while the business hires a permanent Senior Director of Revenue Management, who will ultimately lead the broader function.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Pricing Leadership

Act as the interim Senior Manager of Strategic Pricing, leading the day-to-day operations of the pricing function.

Background

Ideally from gaming, but open to e-commerce, ad-tech, or subscription/dating apps.

Experience

Proven track record in marketing analytics.

Comfortable leading and mentoring others.

Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.

Line management experience (desirable but not essential).
Technical Skills

SQL (essential).

Power BI / Looker.

Data visualisation expertise (Snowflake desirable).

Knowledge of attribution, forecasting, incrementality testing, MMM, LTV/churn modelling (advantageous).

Location: London (Hybrid, 2 days p/w in office)

The Role
As a Product Data Scientist, you’ll work closely with teams across the business to unlock insight, guide product strategy, and influence decision-making. You’ll use advanced analytics, experimentation, and data storytelling to identify opportunities, improve customer experiences, and drive measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyse user behaviour to uncover insights, identify pain points, and influence product direction.

Design experiments and support a culture of testing, learning, and iteration.

Define and align key business metrics, ensuring consistency and accuracy across teams.

Build and maintain dashboards and tools to empower stakeholders with self-serve insights.

Conduct deep-dive analyses to support strategic initiatives and provide clear recommendations.

Collaborate across functions to close data gaps and drive analytics best practice.

Stay current on industry trends and champion innovative approaches to product data science.
The Candidate

Proven experience in analytical roles, ideally within a digital-first or tech-led business.

Skilled in SQL, Python or R, plus familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Lightdash).

Ability to translate business challenges into clear analytical projects and recommendations.

Strong data storytelling and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.

Curious, proactive, and detail-oriented problem solver.

Team player with strong collaboration skills.
