This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a qualitative insight function within a large, established brand communications business, moving into a senior leadership role with real scope: leading a team, shaping capability, and working on globally recognised brands, all within a unique environment that blends insight, creativity, and strategy!
THE COMPANY
You'll join an in-house agency which operates as a collection of specialist teams, delivering integrated work for major clients, including some key flagship relationships which you will be a part of from day 1. The business have long-standing client partnerships and a strong reputation but are now investing in building their external profile and strengthening their insight offering (which is where you come in!)
THE ROLE
This is a Head of Qual-level position, responsible for leading and growing the qualitative research capability.
You will:
* Lead, develop, and expand the Qual team (currently 3, with plans to grow)
* Own and evolve the qualitative research offering
* Deliver high-quality qual work, remaining hands-on where needed
* Partner with Account Directors on key client relationships
* Play a central role across major global accounts
* Introduce new methodologies and innovative approaches
* Contribute to new business and capability positioning
* Work within a matrix structure across insight, creative, and client teams

The Opportunity
A global subscription-led business is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Analytics & Insights team.
This role focuses on understanding subscriber/customer behaviour and performance across multiple international markets. You’ll work with stakeholders across commercial, marketing and product teams to provide insights that support customer acquisition, retention and engagement strategies.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working with large datasets, designing analytical approaches to answer business questions, and presenting findings in a clear and actionable way.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse subscriber growth, retention and engagement trends, providing recommendations to support business objectives.
- Translate complex data into clear insights for a range of stakeholders.
- Design and evaluate experiments using robust statistical methodologies.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisations to monitor performance.
- Support the adoption of self-service analytics and data-informed decision making.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and analytical workflows.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across different functions and markets.
- Manage and prioritise analytical requests, ensuring timely delivery of insights.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an analytics, insights or business intelligence role.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision making through data.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience using visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
- Strong understanding of statistical techniques, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis and experimentation.
- Experience using Python, R or another statistical programming language.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using AI tools to improve analytical workflows would be beneficial.

Their work spans cutting-edge generative systems and is increasingly moving toward real-time, interactive environments, pushing beyond static outputs into dynamic, AI-driven applications.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role focused on managing and growing an Applied ML Research team building cutting-edge tools for AI-based media and world models, with a strong research foundation in computer vision and direct exposure to multimodal work, VLMs/MLLMs, and Physical AI as part of their core research team.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a team of senior researchers (likely 5-10), mentoring them and supporting their career growth while staying hands-on with research
- Oversee the transition from research into production, working closely with engineering to ship state-of-the-art ML work
- Partner with Product to initiate and develop research projects that translate into clear user value
- Communicate goals, drive execution, and inspire through others across a cross-functional org
- Translate product and business objectives into technical research strategies
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience as a research scientist in computer vision, with 1+ years managing teams
- Comfortable managing senior researchers while remaining hands-on in a hybrid research engineering capacity
- High emotional intelligence, with a track record of mentoring and developing other researchers
- Deep interest in productionizing state-of-the-art ML research, having shipped research into product previously
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across research, engineering, and product
