The Role and Deliverables
- Own the design of digital merchandising and acquisition experiences, from concept and wireframes through to final designs.
- Translate complex products, offers, and business requirements into clear, accessible user experiences.

- Create high-quality layouts, assets, and interaction designs with strong attention to visual hierarchy, typography, and usability.

- Excellent UX, interaction design, information architecture, and usability capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, variables, libraries, and scalable design system practices.
- Experience working within and contributing to established design systems.
- Strong visual design skills across typography, composition, imagery, spacing, and digital production.
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and experience preparing web-ready digital assets.
- Understanding of responsive web design and designing for production environments.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG guidelines.
- Experience leveraging research, analytics, user testing, or A/B testing to inform design decisions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale.
- A portfolio demonstrating visual craft, UX thinking, and design system expertise is required.

The team functions like an internal startup, developing technology solutions that improve decision-making, productivity, and operational effectiveness across the business.
The organisation is seeking an entrepreneurial Technical Product Manager who thrives in ambiguous environments and enjoys taking ideas from concept through execution. This role sits at the intersection of product management, data, AI, software engineering, and business operations.
Rather than focusing primarily on roadmap administration or large-scale stakeholder management, this position emphasises identifying opportunities, validating solutions, partnering with technical leaders, and delivering measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Execution
- Identify and prioritise high-value opportunities across AI, data, and technology initiatives.
- Develop hypothesis-driven approaches to address complex business and operational challenges.
- Translate business objectives into practical technical solutions.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to evaluate feasibility, trade-offs, and implementation strategies.
- Define success metrics and drive measurable outcomes.
AI Platform Development
- Support the evolution of AI pilots and proof-of-concept projects into scalable platforms.
- Lead initiatives involving AI enablement, intelligent workflows, automation, and productivity enhancements.
- Establish frameworks for adoption tracking, impact measurement, and value realisation.
- Help mature experimental solutions into production-ready capabilities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with senior business leaders, technical teams, and operational stakeholders.
- Act as a bridge between business objectives and technical execution.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to create organisational leverage.
- Influence decision-making without relying on formal authority.
Operational Excellence
- Drive initiatives independently in a fast-paced, lean environment.
- Build alignment among diverse stakeholders.
- Navigate uncertainty while maintaining focus on business outcomes.
- Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Representative Projects
Examples of work may include:
- Building foundational data capabilities that support AI-driven applications and intelligent systems.
- Consolidating successful technology experiments into scalable internal platforms.
- Turning innovative prototypes into durable production solutions.
- Creating methodologies to measure AI adoption and business impact.
- Modernising operational workflows and decision-support processes using emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, startup leadership, founder roles, or similar positions with substantial ownership.
- Strong understanding of data platforms, data architecture, and enterprise data flows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and understand technical trade-offs.
- Familiarity with software development practices and at least one programming language.
- Proven track record solving complex business problems in ambiguous environments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience launching, building, or scaling impactful initiatives.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building, launching, or scaling AI-enabled products.
- Familiarity with generative AI, machine learning, intelligent agents, automation, or modern data platforms.
- Startup founder or early-stage startup experience.
- Exposure to investment management, consulting, technology, or other analytical business environments.
- Understanding of how technology can create operational value and business impact at scale.
