The Role

The Role
- Own and deliver the organic search strategy across multiple e-commerce websites
- Lead SEO initiatives across technical, on-page, and content optimisation
- Develop and implement a GEO strategy to improve visibility across AI-driven search platforms and LLMs
- Conduct keyword research, technical audits, and performance analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Monitor search trends, algorithm updates, and SERP developments, translating these into clear business actions
- Partner closely with content, digital, PR, and development teams to embed SEO and GEO best practices
- Build reporting frameworks to track traffic, rankings, revenue, and emerging AI visibility metrics
- Act as the internal expert on organic growth, influencing stakeholders and driving adoption of new ideas
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience driving SEO performance in an in-house or end-to-end environment (ideally retail)
- Broad knowledge across technical SEO, content strategy, and digital PR
- Understanding of AI search, LLMs, and how content is surfaced in generative engines, or a clear passion to build this capability
- Experience working with e-commerce or consumer-focused businesses
- Confident working autonomously as both a strategist and hands-on executor
- Strong communication skills, able to simplify complex topics and influence stakeholders
- Data-driven mindset with experience using tools such as GA4, Search Console, and SEO platforms
