Role and Responsibilities
You’ll own the ingestion layer, building and maintaining pipelines that bring data from PostgreSQL, Zendesk, billing feeds and other sources into Databricks using tools like Fivetran or other ETL processing tools. You’ll develop Databricks jobs and notebooks to validate, preprocess and pseudonymise data, ensuring it’s accurate, reliable and ready for downstream modelling. A key part of the role is implementing secure authentication and role‑based access controls across AWS and Databricks, maintaining strong governance around PII.
You’ll write Python scripts to handle edge cases, automate testing and enhance resilience across the pipeline. You’ll also work closely with the Analytics Engineer and software teams to troubleshoot issues, support transformation layers and identify new tools that can improve speed, adaptability and quality.

THE ROLE

In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following:

- Educated to a degree level with a significant quantitative component (e.g. math, computer science, physics or economics)
- Statistical background with knowledge of regressions and hypothesis testing
- Full proficiency using SQL, coding from scratch, commercial experience visualising data within Tableau (or similar), and commercial experience using Google Analytics (or similar)
- Significant experience with large-scale A/B Testing and tools such as (e.g. Optimizely, SiteSpect, VWO)
- Experience using Python for data analysis, building models of attribution, LTV, segmentations
- Significant experience defining and delivering insights and analysis for digital products in a B2C environment

The Role
As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will own the analytics layer end to end. This role blends data modeling, analytics engineering, reporting, and stakeholder partnership, with a clear mandate to move the organization from reactive reporting to insight led decision making.
You will be embedded within the Finance organization and work closely with leaders across Finance, Sales, GTM, RevOps, and Product. This is a senior individual contributor role with a clear path toward people leadership as the data function matures.
What You Will Do
- Own the analytics stack from data modeling in Snowflake through to dashboards and reporting in Metabase
- Design and maintain high quality data models that power trusted, scalable analytics
- Lead the migration away from legacy BI tools and establish a single source of truth
- Build self service dashboards for Finance, GTM, RevOps, and Product stakeholders
- Partner with business leaders to translate questions into durable analytics solutions
- Proactively surface insights that influence planning, forecasting, and strategic decisions
