THE ROLE
You can expect to be involved in the following day-to-day:
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of credit and affordability models, from data sourcing to production monitoring.
Work with a range of data types, including bureau, open banking, and behavioural data.
Own the development and execution of decisioning strategies, including champion/challenger experiments.
Analyse portfolio performance and recommend strategic changes based on data insights.
Partner with engineering teams to deploy models into production systems.
Work closely with key stakeholders to align data-driven decisions with business goals.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5-7 years of experience in a consumer credit environment, particularly in decision science or data science.
Strong technical skills in Python (including libraries like scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM).
Experience working with transactional data and credit bureau sources.
Familiarity with model monitoring and performance tracking frameworks.
Proficient SQL skills for querying and data transformation.
Bonus: experience with unsupervised learning techniques, alternative credit data, or working in a startup/scale-up setting.
