Lead Product Manager, AI Products
Location: Remote (U.S.) with strong preference for candidates in the Dallas-Fort Worth / Fort Worth area
Compensation: Up to $250,000 base salary + bonus/equity potential
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder
About the Opportunity
We are conducting a confidential search for a Lead Product Manager, AI products to drive the strategy, execution, and evolution of AI-powered products that transform complex operational and real-world data into actionable business insights.
This role is ideal for a product leader who has successfully built or launched new products, features, or business lines from concept to adoption, while also demonstrating strong judgement in scaling and optimizing existing products. While greenfield experience is important, this is not a blank-page environment. During the first 6-12 months, you’ll inherit and improve existing products while helping shape the next generation of AI-enabled solutions.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong product intuition, AI fluency, and experience working with tangible, physical-world products, data, or operations. Candidates whose experience is exclusively rooted in legacy enterprise software environments, particularly traditional oil & gas software with outdated workflows and design patterns, are unlikely to be a fit.
What You’ll Do
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution across a portfolio of AI-powered products.
- Lead the development of new product initiatives from concept through launch and adoption.
- Optimize and scale existing products by identifying user needs, workflow improvements, and business opportunities.
- Partner closely with engineering, data science, design, operations, and executive stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Define product priorities using customer insights, data, and business objectives.
- Drive adoption, engagement, and product performance through continuous iteration and feedback loops.
- Evaluate and implement AI capabilities that create meaningful user and business value.
- Establish scalable product frameworks, processes, and best practices as the product organization grows.
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
- Proven product management experience owning strategy, roadmap, and execution for complex software products.
- Demonstrated 0→1 or greenfield product experience, including launching a new product, platform, or business initiative. This experience may have been gained within a startup or as part of a new product line within an established company.
- Success managing products through multiple stages of maturity, including launch, optimization, growth, and scale.
- Experience building products that serve multiple user personas and operational workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset with a track record of driving measurable business and customer outcomes.
- Ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and align cross-functional teams around a clear product vision.
AI Product Experience
Candidates will be evaluated on:
- The quality and sophistication of AI-powered products they have shipped.
- The measurable business or user value created by those AI capabilities.
- Their personal AI fluency and ability to leverage AI effectively in product strategy, decision-making, and execution.
Preferred Background
- Experience working with physical-world products, data, operations, or industrial environments, where software is closely connected to tangible assets, processes, or outcomes.
- Product experience in industries such as industrial technology, manufacturing, logistics, field operations, energy, infrastructure, engineering, physical sciences, or similar operational domains.
- A background in STEM or the physical sciences is highly valued and may serve as a strong proxy for real-world operational exposure.
- Experience building AI/ML-driven products, data platforms, or intelligent workflow tools.
- B2B SaaS and enterprise software experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The strongest candidates will demonstrate:
- 3-5+ years in a product role where they were able to see the results of what they built, iterate, and drive outcomes over time.
- Experience launching something new while also improving and scaling existing products.
- Strong customer empathy and product judgment rooted in solving real-world operational problems.
- A modern product mindset with an appreciation for intuitive design and user-centered workflows.
- The ability to connect AI capabilities to tangible business value rather than pursuing AI for its own sake.
If you’re excited by the opportunity to build and scale AI-powered products that solve meaningful real-world problems, we’d love to start a conversation.
