A growing B2B technology company is seeking a Director of Analytics to lead and scale a newly established data science and analytics function focused on revenue growth and go-to-market performance. This leader will play a critical role in shaping the team’s strategy, building a collaborative culture, and driving measurable business impact across Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success.

What You’ll Do

  • Experience building, scaling, or transforming analytics or data science functions.
  • Strong SQL skills and the ability to review Python-based work.
  • Experience with predictive modeling, experimentation, and advanced analytics techniques.

The role:

You’ll sit within the Data team and act as the analytical partner to Product, owning experimentation, product analytics, and insight generation from event-level data. You’ll work day to day with Product Managers, User Acquisition, and Engineering.

You will:

  • Design, analyze, and interpret A/B tests and experiments that guide product decisions
  • Own product analytics reporting from event-level data, covering feature performance, funnels, retention, and user behavior
  • Partner with PMs and Engineers to define metrics, success criteria, and measurement plans for new features

The role

Reporting into the Senior Home Risk Pricing Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping pricing strategy for the home insurance book.

This isn’t a pure modelling role. Instead, you’ll use models, data, and pricing insight to make commercial decisions about how pricing should be adjusted to drive growth and profitability.

You’ll spend roughly half your time leading and coaching analysts, with the remainder focused on hands-on pricing analysis and strategy.


What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and develop a small team of pricing analysts
  • Analyse policy, quote, claims, market and risk data to identify pricing opportunities
  • Develop and deliver pricing insights to improve profitability and growth
  • Work closely with Data Science, Actuarial, Underwriting and Engineering teams
  • Critically review pricing and risk models developed by actuaries and data scientists
  • Translate model outputs into effective pricing strategies and actions
