Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Approximately 2 to 4 years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, or a related analytical role.
- Experience working within a direct-to-consumer digital product or mobile application environment.
- Understanding of mobile and subscription business metrics, including retention, customer lifetime value, cohort analysis, and engagement measurement.
- Hands-on experience with product analytics or event-tracking platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or comparable tools.
- Strong SQL skills and experience querying large-scale datasets.
- Experience using business intelligence and reporting platforms such as Looker, Tableau, Omni, or similar tools.
- Experience designing, monitoring, and evaluating A/B tests.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with ambiguous requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms and analytics ecosystems.
- Exposure to tools and technologies such as:
- BigQuery
- dbt
- Python
- Mobile attribution platforms

THE ROLE:
You will take ownership of the organisation’s data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with the wider data vision while defining and governing data models, standards and semantic layers across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and governing enterprise-wide data models across Bronze, Silver and Gold layers within a Medallion Architecture.
- Creating scalable curated data models using dimensional modelling and Kimball methodologies.
- Defining semantic data layers, standards and governance practices that ensure consistency, quality and efficiency across the data platform.
- Managing logical and physical data models, metadata, business glossaries and data flows across the organisation.
- Partnering with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers and senior technology stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Providing architectural assurance for business-critical initiatives and ensuring alignment with data strategy and best practice.
- Acting as the organisation’s technical authority for data modelling, governance and architecture standards.
- Supporting the transition from operational reporting towards predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, building and maintaining production data pipelines across the lending lifecycle
- Developing, deploying and maintaining AWS Lambda-based decisioning processes
- Building and improving ETL/ELT workflows that support analytics, reporting and credit decisions
- Managing APIs and data integrations across internal and external data sources
- Improving monitoring, reliability, testing, documentation and production controls
