The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements

• Reviewing and optimising business processes, workflows, and operating models

• Supporting process automation and AI-driven transformation initiatives
• Producing business cases, requirements documentation, process maps, and governance artefacts
• Evaluating options and recommending solutions based on business value and feasibility

• Working closely with project managers, subject matter experts, and senior stakeholders across the business
• Ensuring governance standards and best practices are consistently applied

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience as a Business Analyst within transformation, change, or business improvement programmes
• Excellent requirements gathering, process mapping, and business analysis capability
• Experience operating in complex environments where priorities may evolve
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Experience facilitating workshops and leading discovery activities
• Ability to translate business challenges into clear recommendations and actionable solutions
• Experience introducing or working within governance frameworks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Comfortable working across multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Experience within professional services environments is beneficial but not essential
• Backgrounds from banking environments are not preferred for this opportunity

What They Offer

• Salary of £55,000 to £65,000 in Bristol or £70,000 to £80,000 in London

The Opportunity

An established, technology‑driven organisation is building a central AI engineering capability to support complex, data‑intensive decision‑making across the business.

This is a high‑impact individual contributor role for a Senior AI Engineer who enjoys operating close to the commercial core. You’ll take ownership of critical AI systems from architecture through to deployment, working within a small, trusted technical group with direct access to senior stakeholders.

The Role

You will act as the technical lead for advanced AI tooling, owning system design and delivery across a range of internal use cases.

• Owning end‑to‑end system architecture, performance, and scalability
• Developing AI tools to support research, monitoring, knowledge discovery, and decision support
