- Role: AI Support Engineer
- Location: Midtown Manhattan
- Pay: $60 – $75 per hour
- Length: Extendable 3 months initial contract
- Utilization: 40 hr/week

As an AI Support Engineer, you will serve as the expert level of support for ChatGPT within the organization, acting as both a technical specialist and trusted advisor. You will resolve complex AI-related issues, support and administer the ChatGPT Enterprise environment, drive user adoption, provide governance guidance, and help teams unlock business value through AI workflows, prompt engineering, and emerging AI capabilities. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to improve user experience, enable productivity gains, and maximize the impact of enterprise AI investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage and resolve complex ChatGPT support requests and technical issues.
- Educate users on effective AI usage, including best practices, efficiency techniques, and responsible AI principles.
- Coach users and teams on advanced AI capabilities, including prompt engineering, model selection, Deep Research, apps/connectors/plugins, custom GPTs, Skills, and Workspace Agents.
- Administer and support the ChatGPT Enterprise workspace, including user management, configuration, analytics, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze recurring issues and identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and overall user experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong expertise in Generative AI with deep hands-on experience using ChatGPT or Claude (ChatGPT Enterprise experience preferred).
- Demonstrated prompt engineering skills and experience designing sophisticated AI workflows.
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate business challenges into effective AI solutions.
- Experience administering enterprise AI platforms or SaaS applications preferred.
