Are you a data-driven digital merchandiser with a sharp commercial eye and a passion for performance?
We're working with a leading activewear brand who are looking for a Digital Merchandiser Contractor to join their fast-paced, growing eCommerce team.
You'll play a key role in shaping their digital trading strategy, ensuring products are perfectly positioned online to drive visibility, engagement, and conversion.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end setup of new product launches, ensuring accurate listings, imagery, pricing, and categorisation.
- Optimise product and category pages to support trading priorities, campaigns, and seasonal strategies.
- Lead on-site visual merchandising for key categories and homepages, working closely with Buying, Merchandising, and Marketing.
- Enhance on-site search and recommendations using tools like Algolia (and ideally Nosto) to boost product discovery and relevance.
- Analyse site and product performance using Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, and ContentSquare, providing actionable insights.
- Continuously test, iterate, and improve site layouts, filters, and content to maximise conversion and AOV.
- Partner with UX, Creative, and Development teams to deliver a seamless, brand-led shopping experience across all devices.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Digital Merchandiser / eCommerce Trading Specialist within retail or eCommerce brands.
- Hands-on Shopify experience - confident managing listings, categories, and site updates.
- Experience with Algolia for search and merchandising optimisation.
- Strong understanding of conversion optimisation and digital merchandising best practices.

THE TEAM
You’ll join a high-performing CRM and marketing technology function responsible for customer engagement across digital, print, and subscription products. THE ROLE
This is a hands-on, strategic role focused on delivering high-quality CRM campaigns and data workflows through Adobe Campaign Classic (recently migrated from Standard).
