Harnham is partnering with a leading telecommunications company that is looking for a talented Data Scientist to join their team for a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consultancy on their Data Platform and Customer Analytics from Marketing and Behavioural perspectives. You will work closely with their cross-functional team to analyse complex data sets, develop insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
THE ROLE
- Conduct analysis on large and complex data sets to develop insights on customer behavior and marketing performance.
- Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
- Develop predictive models to support marketing and customer experience initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand their business needs and provide guidance on how to use data to make informed decisions.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy by identifying data issues and collaborating with the data engineering team to address them.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
YOUR SKILLS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in statistics and mathematics.
- Experience working with large and complex data sets and databases.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
