Harnham has partnered with a high-flying FinTech lender and they have tasked us with finding a Senior Data Scientist to join their credit risk modelling team.
THE COMPANY:
The business has been profitable every year since its launch, and they're globally seen as one of the best-run credit businesses out there. They have recently launched their US business and you will be tasked with building these models to combat their UK business model.
THE ROLE:
As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll be involved in the following:
- Work across their personal loans and credit card products
- Completely revamp the UK's application scorecards
- Lead the development of their propensity models
- Focus on improving their underwriting function
- Build toward using open banking data
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The successful Senior Data Scientist will have the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years' experience working for a high-performing FinTech lender
- Proficient in developing IFRS9/IRB/Scorecard models or similar
- Must be highly skilled in using Python
- Experience working on unsecured lending products
