A rapidly scaling Series A AI startup is looking for a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to help revolutionize how one of the world's largest and most traditional industries operates. THE COMPANY:

This startup is bringing AI-driven automation to one of the biggest global sectors-construction. With $30M in funding and a team comprised of Stanford and MIT alumni, they're combining deep industry experience with modern ML and CV to drive digital transformation on the jobsite. With 50+ team members (including 20+ engineers), they're growing quickly and launching multiple AI agents across image understanding, document processing, and Q&A.

THE ROLE:

As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer, you'll work on developing and deploying computer vision models that interpret and extract insights from complex visual data such as blueprints, schematics, and real-world site imagery. You'll play a key role in embedding CV workflows into the company's AI-powered products.

You will:

  • Build and deploy CV models for tasks like image classification, object detection, and segmentation.
  • Design and maintain scalable ML pipelines that integrate visual models into product workflows.
  • Work with proprietary datasets; set up efficient data labeling and training strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with ML, backend, and product teams to integrate models into production.
  • Explore and apply the latest in visual transformers and multi-modal learning techniques.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Robotics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering production-grade computer vision systems.
  • Strong Python skills and experience with libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV.
  • Deep understanding of image processing, visual feature extraction, and model evaluation.
  • Experience with visual transformers and/or multi-modal models.
  • Exposure to LLM-based applications or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems is a plus.
  • Bonus: Experience working with blueprint imagery or construction-specific datasets.
