This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the pricing models ensuring proper oversight and management of the portfolio.

THE ROLE
You will be doing the following daily:
- Enhance and develop pricing tools to support effective oversight of portfolio and underwriting performance.
- Take a proactive approach to managing pricing models, ensuring pricing layers across the portfolio remain appropriate and competitive.
- Seek out and recommend opportunities to expand pricing and underwriting capabilities across the entire home market.
- Maintain high standards for the quality of data used in pricing and monitoring-ensuring it is complete, accurate, relevant, and timely.
- Deliver timely, data-informed pricing and underwriting assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of rating structures and underwriting rules, particularly in response to new and emerging trends.
- Review, refine, and implement both new and existing models using a mix of manual and automated pricing and underwriting tools.
- Improve the structure and functionality of algorithms responsible for setting final net prices.
- Identify, test, and integrate new features through data enrichment and feature engineering initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of new products and propositions by ensuring accurate and robust pricing strategies are in place, drawing on various data sources.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous pricing and portfolio management experience.
- Experience in retail insurance.
- Experience with rate changes.
- Experience with SAS OR SQL and Python OR R.
- Strong communication skills.

What You’ll Do:
